Their First Scene [David & Erica] February 24, 1998 All My Children

Ruth and David's conversation about Jake's upcoming board hearing is interrupted when a frantic Erica brings Bianca into the ER, accompanied by Jack and Dimitri. Erica is angry and Jack frustrated when Dimitri blames their engagement on Bianca not eating. David and Dr. Wyman tell Erica that while Bianca hasn't sustained heart damage, it's time to put in a feeding tube. Bianca is hysterical over the tube as Erica, Jack, David, Ruth and the medical team try to calm her. David is paged by Liza and leaves, unwittingly falling into the trap set by Liza, Jake, Stuart and Allie. Erica talks to Jack and Dimitri and struggles to understand why her daughter is starving herself to death.

So glad AMC did the anorexia story. It's not a social issue often looked at on soaps and hopefully it educated people on how to understand this disorder that affects so many

Maybe you have some tapes of the actual full or partial episodes from 1998 to present that you could pass on to Munecojim's channel to post? That would be great. A lot of the February and March Bianca anorexia moments are in missing episodes on his channel and those missing episodes also include Brooke learning the truth about Jim and coming to terms with his abuse of Laura. A lot of great material that Jim could post to help fill in gaps for people like me who never saw that period. Thanks so much!

David arrived in Pine Valley in November 1997. He and Erica were both at the first Crystal Ball that year but didn't interact. It's clear from this scene they're in very different places - she's focused on Bianca, Jack and Dimitri, and David is involved with Liza, Adam, Jake and Allie. Erica & David were both at WRCW in Nov 98 but didn't interact, and they both attended the 1998-1999 Crystal Ball, but that was it until Feb 1999 when he attended her Teens Against Addiction Gala.
