Khabibs stand-up is underrated. It looks unconventional, so it doesn't get the respect it deserves. I once saw someone on RUclips break it down, and i was really impressed. I knew it was good but couldn't explain it. That 1 RUclips video helped me understand.

@jayn6943 you obviously haven't been in any type of martial art to make such a comment. You've probably never even had a fight in real life. Secondly, in this clip alone, you can see how he avoids Connors' punch (who BTW has good stand up) and then circles around him to put Connor against the cage all whilst constantly putting pressure on him. In this short clip, Khabib dominates him in stand up aswell. When Connor goes for that knee at the start , blink, and you'll miss it, but khabib tagged him with a jab as Connor comes in with a punch and then a knee. Khabibs fight IQ is genius level.

@jayn6943 OK. Well, I guess you see something different, and I see something different. Yes, his takedown threat keeps people occupied to that, and it makes them lose focus whilst on their feet. But that's on them. If they can't fight to their strengths and end up dominated in stand up then he obviously has skill in that department to be able to do it. You can't dominate someone in their own game regardless of a secondary threat to them unless you have the ability to dominate in that regard.
