You are correct that we should spend our life with daily works also but in this time Noone is pure and free from negativity.... Everyone faces negativity and these negative thoughts and actions could only be turned into positive reaction with the name of God that is krishna...
He is the positive source of everything and I have also faced this...

Omg I wake up at 3 am for japa on most days and do japa. Trying my best to do the routine. Today I woke up at 7:40 am..was super exhausted. And first thing in the morning I see this video.
