Fantastic idea but the execution lacks a bit of that Insideinfo nuance.. to my ears the jump back into the guitar riff is too sudden. I'll buy it anyway for the creativity but I hope there's a VIP
Feels like the lack of nuance is intentional. Gonna be fun to test this in a club on people who have never heard it before and see how it works :).
Sup! Echo Nine here. When we went about making this track, we really felt it was important to go against the grain of the formula of metal dnb tracks which tend to be always aggressive in keeping with the metal to neurofunk drop aspect. We thought lets do a metal build, then pull everything right back on the drop and keep it quite minimal. People are going to love it or hate it, but creatively it was satisifying as we felt it was something a bit different! And who knows maybe a VIP may appear at some point! Big up mate
