Nice finish. What type of epoxy do you uses so you don't tape? It would really help if you would explain in the video or comment.

out of curiosity, do you ever get any flak from TCNA guidelines thumpers regarding plane changes and not using silicone? Serious question

Thanks for posting this. Can you tell us what that liquid was you used to clean up at the end and at what point of the curing process you would use it? I imagine if you wait too long the epoxy wouldn’t come off monster what the product.

This one is called “superior”. The colour additive is the same brand. Another one I use would be tenax

Nice clean job! I'm new to tile metering and have been trying to find the epoxy uses for the miters. This is a pretty good example. What would you say is the advantage of epoxy vs grout

No chipping, smooth, sets up faster, tougher when cured, sand it down unlike grout, can customize tint better.

In general it’s a couple minutes. It can vary a lot depending on how much hardener is added, amount of colour added and site conditions like temperature. Ideally you want it firmed up to a gummy consistency to hold its form. Waiting too long can make it unworkable. The timing is probably the most important and difficult to grasp but once that is familiarized the rest is easy.
