I built an automatic item sorting storage in Hardcore! 💎 Ep. 11 - 1.20 Hardcore but Cottagecore 🍄

- Today we're back in our hardcore 1.20 Minecraft world! In this episode, we're back in the Rosewood trying to tackle our various shulker and chest monsters scattered around. To do this, I spent 50 HOURS building a MEGA AUTO SORTER for all of our minecraft items! This episode took me about 170 in-game days to make, from mining the big hole to gathering materials and building! I hope you enjoy!
This series is going to be focused on cozy, cottagecore vibes throughout this world using the Mizuno’s 16 craft texture pack to achieve that vibe, while testing the limits of what we can achieve with only ONE minecraft life!

This is 1'000'000% the most magical storage I've ever seen. The colour palettes and shapes are all really beautiful, of course, BUT THE CEILINGGGGGGGSS!! The flowering azalea leaves, cherry blossom leaves, glow berries, spore blossoms, amethyst... It's so colourful and just dripping with magic and life, and all the particle effects really bring it home. Amazing job on an absolutely gorgeous build~! Thankyou for sharing it with us~!

I haven't watched any Minecraft content or played it in like 3 years, and a few days ago, I was scrolling through yt's recommendations and your cottagecore world movie popped up, the thumbnail looked amazing so I clicked. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. I have been binge-watching your videos over and over again, you inspired and challenged me (In a good way ofc) to redownload Minecraft and start a cottagecore world. So I want to thank you for making me rediscover my love for Minecraft.
(Also, when are the poor villages getting their own houses, and if anyone can tell me what seed Frog has here I will be forever thankful)

THE POOR VILLAGERS I KNOW! Next episode I'm working on a few things to make their houses possible, so should be 2 episodes from now. I've had a specific 'vision' in mind for their homes since I first found this seed and now that I have most of the resources, I am almost ready to build!!
Also the seed for this world is in the pinned comment of episode 1, but the world generation has changed a bit since 1.19. If you load in 1.19 first and explore towards the base area, then upgrade to 1.20 it'll be similar to mine!

I'm really bad at covering up my redstone and I don't even know how to use redstone properly so I only make basic builds.
Just now I was playing on pocket edition and my sorting system There is a hole in the ground with a bunch of chests.
All the other people on youtube build gigantic redstone monstrosities and then they brag about it but you're the one who actually takes the time to make it nice!
Honestly what helped me make redstone farms a bit nicer was hiding them behind walls/underground and using elevators with dropper clocks to move items around!! 😂
The holes I dug in this video as well were at first very overwhelming and hard to look at, but that's why I planned a bit in creative first so I had a basic idea of how much space I would need!! Then once you know the amount of space you can start laying down your design!! Mine is pretty simple but it still helps break up the wall of chests!!
I believe in you!!! Even if it takes some time I know you can make it look nice too :D

what a beautiful storage room. I want to build one too in my world, but probably a bit bigger. this shows how "easy" it is to build one. ngl I'm kind of scared to start mine...
For sure!! It's not that hard it's just time consuming!! I mined ~50k stone/diorite/gravel/etc for this build and it just took a very, very long time. Being so close to my main base I was afraid to make it bigger and have more hopper lag since my fps does drop by ~30ish frames in this area, but luckily it's not too bad!! You can do it!!! Honestly what helped me get started was just building up some designs in creative so I had a vision!!!
@@frogcrafting I can do it! The mining isnt a problem, I already have the location and would need to decide the size. The Haste II beacons are already set up, I think I just need more redstone. Cant wait for its completion tbh. I'm sure its a lot more fun for you too, now that yours is done
oh yeah the redstone was horrible, i didn't expect how much i would need... I ended up getting 5 clerics (1 in the storage and 4 at the villager hall) and even then still grinding in the caves for 5 hours of this entire thing for more :')@@nembutsu1045
@@frogcrafting I luckily already built the Stacking Raid Farm by ianxofour, it works great. Checked today and I had enough to craft like 6 stacks of repeaters/comparators each. though my current storage system design sorts 588 items... maybe I should tone it down a bit 😅

Love the video! You are so skilled at decor! A tip for the sorting hoppers: hoppers can only hold 45 items total, so to save your materials you can place one of your sorting item ie diamonds and 11 sticks in each of the other 4 slots. This way you wont need to use too many precious materials :)

@@frogcrafting that’s how I did my first one too and then I stumbled on someone else giving this same tip on a tutorial and it changed my life haha 😂 I did not have that many diamonds and other materials yet but an abundance of dirt in a different world 😂

Hi!! I don't make tutorials anymore but the dimensions are as follows:
The hallway entrances are 7 blocks wide (the pillars on the ends with 5 blocks free in between). They are connected with the diagonal pillars in both directions going towards the center point.
The diagonal blocks across are 6. You could probably do 5 or 7 if you wanted to make a different pattern!
The storage is 10 blocks tall for all of the hallways and the main area!
The pool to drop down in the very center has its longest sides as 3 wide, with a 1 block diagonal connecting each 3 wide section!

hi! how do you get your hotbar to be cute? I have one saved in my resourcepacks folder and have optifine and it shows in my mods list, but no matter what I do I can't get it to show as my hotbar
Did you turn it on in game? Under options and then resource packs they have to be activated! If that doesn’t work, it might not be updated to 1.20
I wish i could build something like that😭
Honestly it just takes time!!! it was such a big grind but it paid off!!!
