  • DeNovo Energy Limited has expressed interest in engaging in greater investments in Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector.
It comes after DeNovo executives, including its Managing Director Bryan Ramsumair and Commercial Manager Kris Sookdeo, met with Energy Minister Stuart Young on Tuesday.
DeNovo has already invested in the Zandolie and Iguana projects. The Zandolie project in particular was notable for its 100% renewable-powered platform and the maximisation of local content for construction and drilling.
During the meeting, the DeNovo officials discussed specific projects that they wish to pursue to increase upstream gas production.
They noted that future projects would incorporate similar sustainable and responsible energy practices such as that done with the Zandolie project.
Minister Young commended DeNovo for its focus on monetising proven natural gas reserves in a safe and sustainable way to provide the necessary energy from hydrocarbons for the benefit of T&T.
