I had to prove my residency, drivers license, address to register to vote. Illegals need to be ousted immediately, if not sooner!
The problem, they're being brought here, given an address to a church or hotel or apartment where they're being harbored, often by non profit organizations like Red Cross cause they're getting money from the government, and then taken to the DMV with all necessary doc's and boom, they can now vote despite not being legal. But they may or may not understand this opens them to prosecution.
What is sooner than immediately?

@angelabritten48 In some states, you do not need to show an ID or proof of anything. You just go in and vote. Take it a step further. If they are not checking for your "status" you can also request a mail in vote registration. Technically, they don't need to vot as long as they are counted in on population tallies. The winner of the district will get more House seats based on population. Instead of 2 seats based on legal population, they could get 3 or 4 seats. If you supoort this type of voting manipulation, you might as well just stop voting

I'm a senior and remember voting requirements in Indiana which were established to safeguard our elections. You were assigned a nearby polling place in a neighborhood school or community center. These polls were staffed by volunteers, mostly retirees. You went in and stopped at the first table where they checked your ID against a big book of all registered voters in that location. You were not able to vote in a general election unless you had previously showed up to vote in the primary. You placed your signature in the book, and then were directed to a private booth with a curtain where you filled in the spots. You gave your ballot to a volunteer as you stepped out. Then you got your sticker. This was how it was in Indiana and made it impossible for busloads of paid voters to be driven from poll to poll. A drop box would never be allowed.

Save this! I'm an American citizen, and my vote was stolen in 2020. I was running a fever in 2020 and couldn't drop off my ballot. In 2022, I voted and decided to follow my ballot using the secretary of state's website in CA. It showed that my 2020 ballot was marked received. I called my county office, and they confirmed that they never received my ballot. So if there is no election interference or fraud, tell me how CA marked my 2020 ballot received if my ballot remained on my dresser because I was running a fever?

I was born an American citizen, now living in Wa State ( registered Republican ) but I received notice that I was not eligible to vote (2020) because my voter registration "was not received in time". How can a natural born citizen be denied their right to vote but illegal residents that were ferried across the border be allowed to register/vote ....yeah, all this nonsense is by design. It not only allows non-citizens to vote but they are also changing the amount of congressional seats these blue states have in DC allowing them (Democrats ) to have the majority which effectively still keeps them in power

Something is amis in NM. I first registered to vote independent. Then I got a letter from the county clerk stating I could not vote in the general election as independent as it was not a recognized party. I re-registered as Republican and checked the vote nm site to ensure I was registered, and I was. Last week I received a mailing card from the registrar's office stating I was not registered to vote. When I called their office, I was told a third party voting census company had sent that mailing to me in error. I have NO FAITH in NM voting fairness At All.
You are correct..I had to change my party to either democrat or republican from independent to be able to vote at all. I changed party and went to vote, my registration ID wasn't found. I'm in NY.
Examine every vote for citizenship. Even if the count last days. Stop the foreign influence in our elections.
I worked at the Chattanooga Housing Authority. Proper ID is required for any public housing or Section 8 application or acceptance. For many other government benefits ID is also required. If a person was born in a foreign country and can' t get a birth certicate, they should be able to show they have gone thru the acceptable requirements and have become a naturalized citizen. Most US -born citizens should be able to get proof thru their birth county or state. The only requirement to register to vote is to check a box w/o requiring proof of citizenship. Do you not still require legal immigrants to take the citizenship test in English? If not, you should. With the small difference in the number of votes won by the 2 candidates, even a small number of illegals voting can make a difference. I would suggest if there are truly disabled people that cannot go to a registration location that the election committee provide workers (paid or volunteers) to go to them to help them register. Requests for assistance must be received by a stated deadline before each election to give time for assisted registration to be accomplished.

In 2020, a California friend of mine went to vote. When she asked if the voting administration in her district wanted to see her identification in order to vote. They not only told her " no", but they told her never to ask again! She was astounded! Because of that statement, and the fact that California became a dumping ground for illegals and homeless. With millions of illegal immigrants why isn't citizens ID a real concern. Many illegal immigrants have drivers licenses. There should be a national enhanced ID showing citizenship. That would be easy and fair for everyone. Just because you can't "prove " it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Vote roll audits should be going on throughout the year, not just weeks before an election.

The driver license with the star PROVES you are a citizen. I had to bring my birth certificate years ago to get that one. BUT, there are still drivers licenses without the star.
As an election judge in MN the most I’m allowed to do is have them sign an oath….even if they can’t speak English we still are required to let them vote. It’s insane.
