    I love all the analysts in the comment section with “MJ could have never made the finals with this team” or “look how bad lebrons stat line is, MJ would have done better” no one knows and no one will ever know. There’s not even a reason to have a goat argument because different eras, different play styles, different body types, and different positions. The other expansion team's were the Grizzles,Raptors,Timberwolves only the Raptors were in the East that sucked. The East was strong due to the Dynasties that ran the 80s (76ers,Celtics,Pistons). Also not too long ago a team in the East made the playoffs with 36 wins I'll Google the team. Jordan dominance in the greatest era of basketball to date.       Na it was to let Lebron shoot! If you watched these highlights you'd see he didn't hit his 1st basket from the field till the 3rd qtr. And in most cases you can still guard him like that in yr. 17! He wont beat you shooting a jumper but goin to the hole and also getting and 1's is where he kills you! Take that away and he's cooked!

Since then he's had great fg% games in most playoff games he has played since that time, just look at the all jump shots he made in 2018 playoff run.

    This is my first time really researching this series. I always thought they got blown out all 4 games. LeBron actually gave the Spurs 4 fairly tough games. It was a sweep but not an easy one.

      if you watched the east in 2007 the cavs actually low key were stacked...the pistons lost ben wallace the bulls were young the heat were old the nets were old the magic were too young the wizards had injuries and the raptors were flawed....the east sucked...the cavs had lebron big z and drew gooden varejao donyell marshall up front which as a 5 some was solid and with larry hughes sasha pavlovic and damon jones in the backcourt they were scary... and daniel gibson came alive from 3 a few times as well to round them out a bit..a tiny bit of eric snow veteran savy as a former member of two finals teams and bam thats a finals team.....this team could defend rebound and played hard

    This was the first time a coach dared lebron to shoot jumpers . and it worked . after this season his jumper got 10x bettwr and he never had that problem again. Its disgusting to think he was 21 years old leading a team that had no business in the finals. Hes the greatest ive ever watched from a talent stand point and i grew up on jordan and watched kobe become the mamba.       Lebron never lost first round in playoffs. MJ didn’t have to play a 70 win team. Also MJ had Phil Jackson as his coach. Lebron never had a God Tier coach. While MJ is the greatest in accolades and overall legacy to basketball, Lebron is arguably a better all around player compared to Jordan. Lebron is a regular triple double threat, and was and overall better playmaker.

Jordan and Kobe stans have spent damn near 20 years setting unrealistic expectations for Lebron, because if they don't diminish his achievements he starts to look pretty damn unique.     LeBron carried that team but the east was absolute trash that year compared to the west teams. Not a negative against LeBron because you play who ever is in front of you.     cleveland didn't deserve the championship they had back in 2016, but lebron did. he deserves all recognition and credit for carrying the franchise.
