Awesome. Glad to hear you like the 250XC. I 2qs torn at first but decided on the 250... have my 2023 arriving in a couple weeks. Thanks for the video !
Glad I watched this. Just bought the 2025 250 xc-w. Everybody keeps telling me I should’ve gotten the 300. I like the bike it’s just frustrating to hear that after dropping so much $$
100% agree… I’ve been a 250 guy for a few years… I picked up a 2022 300xc, and I’m not gelling with it like I did with the 250, so the new 23 250 is on order!!
@Duh ya think? Its more about the Terrain then Weight. Both of those bikes will move a big boy along just fine. There the same bike just a different piston . You cant go wrong with either one. Faster flowy trails 250 tight technical endure 300. But both will do more then the average rider can handle as far as just Trail Riding.
I rode both TPIs at a demo day and confirmed the 250 was for me, and bought a 250. The 300 was a handful when riding higher in the RPM like I prefer to.
'23 250 XC TBI or '22 300 XC TPI for all around trail riding fun? No formal racing, no motocross style jumps, but some of everything else on the east coast. What say you? Thanks!
Going to be more like a 4 stroke that way in the sense that it’s fuel injected. On the old carbed bikes, every blip of the throttle throws fuel which cools and lubricates. These bikes do that through mapping and computers. Pretty rad

Everyone thinks they need a 300 when really a 250 is the better bike.

@@Bimmere Glad to hear. I was going to get the 23 300xc next week. Now it looks like I will be getting the 250xc instead. Thank for your comment.
@@MR.TOYBOX so I rode my 23 250xc, man that thing does not disappoint!!

How do I find out about these ride days? I've found Betas" but not KTM yet. I'm pretty close to you over in KY.
Did you feel it at the grunt ay low end like the tpi w version
300 for Wv gnar. 250 for the desert and the dirtbike channel guy.
Haha this made me laugh! But I agree!
Sure wish there was a demo day for KTM closer to me so I could test them out before dropping $$$
I know right! This one was 3 hrs for me myself.
Good review.
Thanks Steven!
How's the ECU tuning feel
Beautiful!

How's the low end grunt? I keep wondering how it handles slow speed rock crawling (moab) or low speed rock hopping (Mr. Jarvis style)...
Get a w model
Do you still have to blip the throttle so the engine doesn’t blow up ? Or is it like 4 strokes where you can cruise ?

At 50 seconds you said you didnt notice the playfulness as much on the TPIs…is this bike not a TPI?
No, it's TBI.
No, it's not. The brand new TBI. Completely new engine and fueling system.
what camera are you using?
Gopro 11
