Interesting thing about Liam Neeson; he can have the most terrifying, scruff voice that will make you pray for death before he finds you, or the softest, kindest voice that makes you think you're floating on a cloud.
@Eagle Fang downfall is not propaganda. It’s based off memoirs and eyewitness accounts from actual members of the Third Reich who spent their last days in the bunker. Schindler’s List on the other hand is packed with lies
Yes, it is. Him being a badass in Taken is nice, him displaying such range of emotions and character growth, standing next to such great actors as Ben Kingsley and not being outclassed is only showing how good this was.
Not only Neeson gave his best in that film, Sir Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes and Embeth Davidtz are to be appreciated too... Everyone was great in that movie...!!
There was never any doubt. Liam Neeson's portrayel of Oscar Schindler is his most haunting performance to date, and indeed one of the best performances of any actor in any piece or theatrical art, be it series or film, I have ever seen. The movie as a whole is a master piece of cinematography and acting by all parties involved. Ralph Fiennes was the perfect match for Oskar, and don't forget Kingsley's conscientious performance either.
Patrick Hallisy The funny thing is that Hollywood always rewards a film that shines light upon the jewish persecution during WW2 or just general history of where Jews have been treated like shit... not trying to be anti-semitic, just thought it being a bit ironic lol
Schindler's List and Taken were the two most important movies of his career. List showed how great of an actor he is and was just an incredible film, and Taken made him into an action star who was guaranteed to draw audiences. Look at the cover for any film he's been in since playing Bryan Mills, and his name is first and foremost in big, bold letters, lol. There's no denying it brought him back into the limelight as well as making him popular amongst younger audiences.
doorstopfever1 The Grey is a fantastic movie, but I can't help but dislike it's ending. I, along with apparently everyone else, *really* wanted to see him fight the alpha. I understand the director thought it might sully the movie's "credibility", but he *did* shoot the scene and made it look like it was going to be in the movie. Long story short: I'm still jonesing to see Liam beat the piss out of a wolf, lol

Ure damn staright right man..the grey highlights one of the best performance by neeson...the scene where he calls to god was one hell of a brilliant acting
The visuals made in the movie were so imaginative, yet so heartbreaking at the same time, even the fact that they used white and black was so brilliant.
As someone from Ireland, a lot of people grow up with a renewed charisma for our country after seeing his part as Micheal Collins. Such a moving performance for an undoubtedly difficult role.
Some of these performances he does deserve more than a golden globe. They should have gotten him an Oscar nomination!!! He does a very good job and deserves that award!!!
I agree! The Chronicles of Narnia were my bedtime stories as a kid, and I loved the character of Aslan out of everyone else. When I saw the film adaptation of the first book in theaters, I loved Liam's performance, and wanted nothing more than to thank him for bringing my childhood bedtime story's favorite character to life!
Liam Neeson is a fantastic Irish actor of all time, and my favourite of Liam's performances is Michael Collins and doing the voice of Father Sean in Season 16 of The Simpsons. The Father, the Son , and the Holy Guest Star episode.
I have always loved Liam Neeson. There is something about him that is so warm and likeable. He just seems like the nicest guy. Schindler's List is life changing and he definitely deserved the Oscar for his performance! Taken and The Grey are also favorites. Some of these movies I have never even heard of so now I need to watch them! LOL
One of the best actors ever. A Complete badass. Not too many actors have mentored Batman, a Jedi, and Fathered a demi god (Zeus: Clash of the Titans). And that's STILL just the tip of the iceberg. Def one of my fav actors.
His voice and refined acting make him the most believable badass. Over at our channel we created an animated tribute to Liam Neeson and tried to cram in as many movie references as we could in under 10 minutes.

kirikakirikakirika True.
He always plays a mature mentor role. There's just something so magnificent about this man that makes him untouchable as an actor
Here. Let me sum up this video. Every movie Liam Neeson has ever been in, is awesome.
Except The Phantom Menace
@@MisterX867 and the Taken sequels, and Run All Night, and A Million Ways to Die in the West.

I think Schindler's list is one of the saddest and best movies. It really makes you think about the past and all the horrors we try to forget.
You should watch 'Downfall'
@Eagle Fang downfall is not propaganda. It’s based off memoirs and eyewitness accounts from actual members of the Third Reich who spent their last days in the bunker. Schindler’s List on the other hand is packed with lies
Sad. Sobject. But. The. Story. Dosent. Need. Liem. The. Monon. Neeson
I personally think that Oskar Schindler was Neeson's best performance.
such a sad film
Yes, it is. Him being a badass in Taken is nice, him displaying such range of emotions and character growth, standing next to such great actors as Ben Kingsley and not being outclassed is only showing how good this was.
For me it was Michael Collins
Not only Neeson gave his best in that film, Sir Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes and Embeth Davidtz are to be appreciated too... Everyone was great in that movie...!!
I heard somewhere that he said that it wasn’t his best work. I was flabbergasted, because his performance in that film was God-tier.
There was never any doubt. Liam Neeson's portrayel of Oscar Schindler is his most haunting performance to date, and indeed one of the best performances of any actor in any piece or theatrical art, be it series or film, I have ever seen.

He is so underrated
Why Neeson didn't win an Oscar for Schindler is a travesty.
Because Hollywood rewards the talentless and the unoriginal and those who are chummy with the people who have all the money.
I agree.
Tom Hanks won that year for Philadelphia. I think they should have given it to Liam and then Tom gets his the next year for Forrest Gump.
Agreed.
Patrick Hallisy The funny thing is that Hollywood always rewards a film that shines light upon the jewish persecution during WW2 or just general history of where Jews have been treated like shit... not trying to be anti-semitic, just thought it being a bit ironic lol
He voiced Aslan extremely well in The Chronicles of Narnia

i have always thought liam neeson was badass.
reachforacreech I knew he was from the moment I watched Episode 1 as a kid when it came out. Qui-Gon is still my favourite Star Wars character, lol
Agreed. "Taken" is what really made me realize how great Neeson is and I am trying to watch all of his films. He is truly great and very underrated!

I think he deserves an Oscar more than several other actors who actually won one.
Damn! Not even a mention of The Grey. Flawless performance in that one. People take that movie so literally.
"The Grey" came out after this video was posted.
#Neeson should have won an Oscar For Schindler's List and Michael Collins

Like if you cried during Schindler`s List
When he was breaking down saying how he could've saved more is when I started crying.
I watched the movie twice and I got emotional on both the occasions......
I Colby Yep. I don’t normally cry at movies, but Schindler’s List was the one that did it for me.
“One more person...”
A very underrated actor to his skill set
Liam Neeson is just a world class actor!!
Liam neesons voice so soothing i could just imagine him reading a bed time story to someone they would just soundly fall asleep

i was thinking the same
I didn't really think so man
neeson's role in the movie was awesome but the movie itself was kinda eh.. the ending was one of the worst iv seen.
Ure damn staright right man..the grey highlights one of the best performance by neeson...the scene where he calls to god was one hell of a brilliant acting
A few time's Neeson's been the sole reason to watch a film. Darkman, Episode 1, and Battleship come to mind.
Schindler's list........I don't cry and I cried at this movie.... my whole family thought I was having a break down because they never see me cry
Same hahahha
The visuals made in the movie were so imaginative, yet so heartbreaking at the same time, even the fact that they used white and black was so brilliant.

Yep only Schindlers list and Walts with Bashir have done it for me.

His performance in Schindler's list was nothing short of incredible. Only a true actor could have lived up such a tremendous role.
What about Aslan from "Narnia"? His performance was outstanding.
I couldn't agree with you more.
YES!!!
That's exactly what I was wondering!!

It's too bad this list came so early. Good Cop/Bad Cop would definitely be on my list!
most definitely

Urdnot Stark I see what you did there ;)
Mick Collins is his best role of all time hands down
The shots with Christian Bale. Ijust remembered how tall Neeson is. You usually don''t notice, but he's BIG.
I can't believe you guys completely ignored Aslan! He was awesome in that role!
voice-overs isn't really acting
Do you remember Darth Vader because the of the guy walking around in the outfit or because of James Earl Jones doing "voice over"?
Michael Collins! Neeson's greatest performance, definitely! Love his Cork-accent in the film
Any performance by Liam Neeson is going to be legendary.
