- Metroman from the movie Megamind is unfathomably strong. Seeing Metromans resurgence in popular times Metroman's strength can literally destroy the universe in the blink of an eye if Metroman wanted to. Metroman is so strong that Metroman from Megamind can travel at light speed as evidenced by the fact that the time stops around Metroman. Metroman can destroy anything he wishes as his strength is unfathomably strong.
even at super speed he doesn't seem to be in a rush. he seems to be walking instead of trying to go fast.
its not speed. He literally just stops time. If it WAS super speed then how come he is able to sit down for long periods of time without anything continuing? If he stops moving he's not making motion which means he's not using speed. The flash doesn't do that. When he stops he stops. So the fact metroman can sit in a restaurant, read a book or fly a kite shouldnt be possible. If he sits down everything will look normal again. Its like the writers have no idea how super speed works. He's not going fast, he literally pulled a ZA WARUDO and stopped everything. Nobody is moving and just stops dead in its tracks. Reality warping is one of my top 5 super powers and Metroman is an excellent example of someone who just ignores physics. He's so powerful we can only conclude that he is one of a kind because why else would his people have been destroyed if they all had his power level. He is also graying so we know he isn't like Superman who is solar powered, he's just a physical powerhouse with an expiration date built in.

While he is by no means slow, he is slow enough that you are able to see him on megamind's side of the camera for more than a frame on the day the metroman museum opens. This is far slower than light. He in fact, does not have infinite power (as far as we know)

That's the whole point we're getting at, he appeared behind megamind BEFORE he even KNEW his location, yet appears in a single frame behind him during the speech. Man's decided "I don't have time for this" literally freezes time. Yes, I'm not arguing with this lmao he's a gag character from a children's movie. He freezes time with his speed, cope. And he’s not going at the speed of light. He was going at around 100-300 times the speed of sound. And viltrumutes are so much stronger than him that it would be like putting a human up against a harmless fly. And biltrumites can go up to billions of times the speed of light. So even if metro man could go at the speed of light, he would still be directly outclassed by the viltrumites. For example, Omni man flew across the entire galaxy in a few days. Which is millions of even billions of times the speed of light. And he’s not even the strongest or fastest one. So although metro man is very powerful, he gets directly outclassed by viltrumites.

Plus Megamind was capable of dodging Tigten’s heat vision. And Metroman is obviously massively faster than Megamind and Tighten. I’d put my favor in the facts and feats presented in the movie rather than “well there’s a shadow there and that doesn’t work with the laws of physics so obviously Metroman is slower” when the animators probably didn’t think that far anyway
