- Ever wondered what it's like to be recruited to play D1 football? On this episode of our "Sports Dissected" series, our host Leland Bruce becomes a 5-star recruit for a day and takes an unofficial visit to Eastern Washington University. The Eagles take us on a campus tour, engage us in a quick football workout and involve us in a photo shoot on their famous red turf. Watch until the end to see if Leland signs that Letter of Intent.

My cousin played football here one of my favorite fcs facilities red field is so cool
Great behind the scenes. There's many of us that wished we could've played college ball, and one thing up and coming players need to remember, it's not all about physical ability, you've got to have the right attitude. That's definitely something that held me back.

You gotta have that dog in you, don’t think it’s corny to do things like bring a big jug of water to class to stay hydrated or to lift extra or to run a little harder during conditioning than the others. Some guys on ur team may be balling and getting offers and it may not look like they’re not trying, but I promise you behind the scenes they are working they’re ass off.
Also take creatine, if you ain’t on creatine then wth are you doing

I'm from San Diego and Eastern Washington is my favorite team to watch this season. The QB is on point and the offense is clicking on all cylinders. And the D flies around and is stingy. The red field is a bonus 👌🏽 SWAGGY 👌🏽

It’s always been my dream to go D1, but those dreams came to a halt as I am 17 and about 5’3 😢😢, and it’s my senior season but I might either go D3 or NAIA

After seeing all the FBS school facilities you guys did, this seems pretty tame.
Unfortunately, Eastern's success hasn't equated to commensurate facilities. However, a long history of success despite the fiscal limitations.
