There is a nice easy green lane that runs past Stonehenge! 🙂
I used to have to ride the A303 every week when I was based in Plymouth/Torpoint back in my navy days, used to do mu head in during holiday season, traffic was always a mare.
600 miles non stop is big miles.... I think the furthest I have travelled without a break other then fuel was around 500 miles up to Scotland, but for enjoyment, I tend to stick to 300 tops if travelling without a proper break.
That green line sounds quite good. I’ll probably find myself starting around Dorking first and maybe make a day out to Stonehenge and try that green Lane do you have any good app suggestion to find good byways Green Lanes
@@2_wheel_adventurer I 100% recommend joining the TRF, not only do they do guided rides for their members, they also have their Green Road Map, which is web based and shows all the UK's green lanes and their legal status. It is what I use when planning my trail rides.
@@HippoDrones okay that sounds awesome. I will definitely join them once I’ve got the green Lane Bike thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. Very helpful thank you
Hey can I ask where you got these mirrors? 🙏appreciate
I’ve got the mirrors from here this is the link www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LR00V2O?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Is it legal to ride over the central chevrons? Does that count as filtering or is it a grey area?
It’s a grey area, probably don’t recommend it
It’s only illegal if the chevrons have a solid border. If the border is broken you can enter however these areas generally accumulate grit and glass etc. so caution is advised.
I can do an hour and half of riding before I need to stop for a rest. I think like 130 miles lol. just wish I had more cushion in my seat I use one of the air cushions. they do ok. but my legs get cramped pretty quickly.
an hour and a half of driving pretty good going I've got the beauty of being very young. how do you find the air cushion does it work well
@@2_wheel_adventurer it’s a lot better than the stock seat of my FJ09. Gives me just enough to increase my stamina, that and working out my legs and doing squats. If I can’t get my cushion on my bike I may as well build it on my ass lmao
