Hey guys! :) What 32-bit mainboard would You recmend for Tevo Tornado? Maybe some must-have (or worth paying for) options? I still do have oryginal 8-bit board (with TMC2208 drivers) and want to swith to Marlin 2.x
Thanks for your very educational video on the tevo but i made the change with the bltouch and im have a tough time with it..I'm very new with 3d printing like 3 weeks new.. can you pleasw help me
Please, add a download link to the firmware to non facebook users i have ordered my BLTouch and i have problems to find the Marlin Files, in the github i don't see any trace of BLTouch. Thanks.
I ordered my BLTouch, I have the same tornado model as the one in the video, one question tho for anyone around that may know, for the cable from the BLTouch to the motherboard, which kind is it used? gauge? I got the dupont connectors but im kinda stuck in what kind of cable to buy, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you
I just got this, and pulled the individual wires from the ribbon. www.amazon.co.uk/1-27mm-Multicolored-Dupont-Ribbon-Rainbow/dp/B07P7QCQG6/ref=sr_1_49?keywords=ribbon+dupont&qid=1579432567&s=electronics&sr=1-49
I have two TTs and I really like them, but people seem to have it out for them and it's hard to find information specifically for them. Every time I find something that might be useful, it's being held ransom by a Facebook account. Many people in my search have said the same. It makes it seem like there's some exclusivity there and it's really annoying. I bought a Tevo product, I expect to be able to freely find help for that product without a third party highwayman. Thanks for the video and showing the hardware setup, but you conveniently left out the part that's locked behind a FB account. I don't like that. Make these files available on your site for direct download. Don't give me a link to sign in with FB! Product is great, customer service is garbage.
Most of these cartesian printers are about the same, regardless of where you get it assuming it's calibrated correctly. The Tornado is better than a lot within the price range because the heated bed is fast and the glass is nice and flat, and from my experience the printer functions well out of the box and better with inexpensive upgrades. Unfortunately, the best thing about the Tornado is the facebook group with over 15,500 members and a ton of them willing to answer questions and help out. It's the best resource a Tornado owner has, so I'd suggest just making a Facebook account named like "Nado Printsman" just for the Tevo Tornado Owner's Group. Every single issue I've been unable to solve on my own was solved with troubleshooting help within days thanks to the group. Every upgrade I've made was either informed by, or assisted with the help of the other members of the group.
I love how you put the wire outside of the wire loom. lol
Great vid thanks!! Straight and to the point without endless anoying talking like many other youtubers.
Where is the firmware file? On the facebook group page? What specific file name please?
