Enjoy your unique style of food blogging. Keep it going ! Like your new addition of oldie songs too. Wonder if you had done a video on the old Cuppage Centre before. Visited the hawker centre when in Spore some 30 years ago. It was a food heaven in the old days. Thanks Piggypuggy.
Thanks for showcasing the normal everyday places and not just the Michelin ones or the social media influencer ones!! You are contributing to our National Identity and Singapore culture!!!! But that’s a lot of carbs in one morning 😉
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THE FRIED BEE HOON STALL, PORRIDGE WITH BEE HOON IS SO HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS. It’s quintessentially childhood for me and i’m sad that it’s getting rare these days.
The carrot cake standard is very consistent and good. The young man adds good amount of eggs (a must) and loads of radish in there. Full flavour and satisfying.
Indeed, this hawker centre is just a few steps away from Old Changi Airport Rd hawker centre but everytime I passed by in the afternoon, it is as if it is already closed. Supposedly a prime location but it is not as popular. Puzzling.
@@jlee8181 Along the same road as Old Airport Rd Hawker Centre, if you are facing Old Airport Rd Hawker Centre, this market/hawker centre is on the left, in between there are shops including 7/11, clinic and NTUC.
I used to frequent this place and old airport market because office was at mountbatten sq. Usually go for the fried bee hoon or fishball noodles....and the soya bean drink.
Best of the lot for hawkers food - hidden treasure indeed! i like the older hawker folks who are generously keen to share their history and proud of the many, many years selling the same dishes/food. Sad to see them disappear though l-(
Haha 👍 The pigeon & friends indeed get back to better life (unlike COVID days where everyone could only tabao). Looks like this hawker ctr is c v near the famous Old Airport Rd one!
Whenever I go this area, i actually eat at the coffeeshop next to it. There's a nice fried bee hoon stall there. Okay, my next trip, i will try the fried bee hoon from the hawker center.
Piggy mate, How do I get a 'Happiness. I created it myself' tee-shirt? (Reiteration of tee-shirt theme intended) I will need a few. Unlike you, anything I wear will be spattered in chilli and sambal within a few outings to the hawker centres. Do you have a merch store that I haven't noticed? Dr M
Hehehe.. Dr. M! I actually have 2 but I already destroyed one due to some plumbing issues.. I got it from Thailand 🇹🇭 some years back.. love that Hakuna Matata feel to it 😂
Kopi is cheap! Only $.90 but always long queue. We love the carrot cake there. Me and my wife usually stop by after biking. Plus the fishball noodle is very good.
Hi, thanks for your recommendations! I’m going to Singapore soon, accept food any recommendations for accommodation for 2 weeks. Me and my sister that have a wheelchair. 👍
i missed hum chun pang with pulut in the middle very much! and the ones with red bean paste too, haven's seen the pulut ones on your videos; are these still selling in hawker centres in Singapore - where are they located, please?
Looks like the guy filming the video did not know much about hawker food. He does not even know what is dosai also why use coconut oil. It is much healthier than palm oil.
Yummy!!!! Yummy!!! Hungry craving !! Yes thumbs up alright!! Thanks so much!
Hello Linda.. tried any new Singapore dish lately? I suddenly thought of muah chee 😄
the back breaking Jedi master comment just made me LAUGH OUT LOUD!

The biggest selling point of this hawker centre is the price point of the items offered.
Most of the public flock to the old airport road next door.. so the vibe here are for the nearby residents tondine after morning marketing
Great video thank you but for us non Singaporeans could you please next time explain what each dish is? Thanks.

Most hawker centres have wheel chair friendly access, either ramp or lifts. Cheaper hotels around Bencoolen, Balestier, Guillemard, Kallang areas.
