Watching Star Wars Rebels right now with my son, just finished season 2. He's having so much fun with it. It's my second time watching it, and I have to say that while I liked it on my first viewing, I am liking it even more now.
One other thing to note: this new release of the Ghost includes (as you show) the upgrade card “agile gunner” which is not provided in the Rebel conversion kit. I believe it is only currently available via Lando’s Millennium Falcon.
I started playing armada because of this guy..... and his x wing videos have gotten me to start into it as well. Amazing content man!
Agree with the thoughts on folding wings for the Phantom 1. With the articulation they've done on the X-wing and B-wing models.
Absolutely love this ship, one of my favourite Star Wars designs. The built in Phantom is brilliant.

Bought this last night and played a game. I used Fenn Rau, Wedge, and Luke to get the win. Never played 1.0 but I love the Ghost.
This channel has been so helpful with Star Wars tabletop games and has been my go to for everything Armada, Legion, and X-Wing. Keep up the awesome work man

It seems like there's a "two steps forward, one step back" thing going on with some of the 2.0 ship updates: better functionality or docking/moving part improvements, but sometimes the paint seems to be suffering, whether as a result or "just because" being currently unknown, alas. But, still cool, and I do hope they come up with a good solution for the original Phantom for this eventually.

Don't get me wrong, this expansion is great, very well done. But I can't help notice, where is Spectre 5? Ya know, the one you can't miss wearing VERY colorful Mandalorian armor... Sabine Wren??
Agreed. I'm very displeased that we didn't get Sabine as crew and Ezra as gunner. Regardless, this expansion is one of favorite from 2.0.

I'm pretty sure I saw a modded Phantom 1 with folding wings. It should fit there, snapping the peg off is so easy it tends to happen by itself, and it could be just glued back on a bit further to the front to match the hole. And of course there are magnets to make it even simpler.
So great. As a new player who is only buying 2.0, I'm very excited for the Ghost.
That looks like a nice model! Maybe I can paint my Armada VCX using that as an example.

I’m disappointed in the bad wash on the Ghost. The new support looks great though
I noticed that too, mine was pretty decent but that's because I looked for one. For the most part the wash is lacking though
Other than that underside having bad brush work this Ghost is epic the detail of adding a door was great

A good choice. You get the other two cores, plus whatever supplements you want, you'll be good to go for SW roleplaying.

REALLY wish it came with both shuttles.
I miss that combo from first edition where you could put autoblaster turrets on it with accuracy corrector and you could consistently get 4 hits/ turn. Love the fact that the Phantom II can actually be removed from the Ghost. Suuuper jealous my Ghost won’t do that

Paul Reader - I’m curious how it will fit?
Just a warning from someone who has used Ghost a fair amount. Those lasers in front WILL break off. They are right on the end and the weight of the model is enough to snap them. I was hoping they would be made a little thicker like the ones on the new Bwing.

I think that the new base and the removability, of the Phantom, are the most interesting things here...

Just got mine today, yours looks way different to mine. Mien has a similar wash to the last one and is also washed fine underneath. Also, the brush marks on might are a looooot lighter underneath compared to yours.
I've bought the Ghost expansion the day of the release, mine has the same brush strokes and a similar wash and shading. I like it more than the 1.0 model, though.
Im glad to see they fixed the stand. My tri stand broke after one use on the original. It was very flimsy.
I wish I could get that new peg separately for my old Ghost.
It's an awesome new model! Probably not gonna get a second Ghost but it does look tempting
It would be helpful to give some size measurements as not everyone wants to play the game but might want the ship for other games or just display with ships from other sources,
It annoys me that they had another chance to update the Ghost model to the Seasons 2-4 version with the flattened bottom and the altered underside fin. The rebels get the Phantom II during season 3 after the Ghost model update. So as it stands on this model, the Phantom II is docking on the season 1 version of the Ghost rather than the proper seasons 2-4 version.
I like the brighter paint-job. Personally I prefer the Attack-Shuttle on the Ghost...

I love what Fantasy Flight is doing with 2.0, it's a lot easier than 1.0 for my friends (who don't own any ships or play very often). I feel so lucky to live 20 minutes away from one of their physical stores. I struggle to not kill my wallet, though.
The phantom is a nice touch.
I wasn't going to buy this. But seeing it out of the package, it's just too cool. Plus, I never picked up the sheithepede so this gets it for my collection.
Would have been nice to get both shuttles... Oh well

I wouldn't say the shading is bad on the new one, personally the original model just has too much contrast.
So cool me and a friend might meant to do a kind of capital ship battle with this and a shetapied against a falcon and escape craft with launching the fighters and stuff like that might even add an a wing and a z 95 thumbs up 👍
Got to finally play my first game of armada the other day! Really shines more not playing the training mission! Have fell for the game fore sure.
The Ghost looks pretty cool. The underside might be a bit bland but it won't be seen that much.
I'm a little confused about the docking ships. Unfortunately I've never seen Rebels. Is the sheathipede called the Phantom?
If so then then what is the attack shuttle that you showed? Is the attack shuttle a completely seperate expansion on its own?
I am pretty impressed with the new base. I wonder if that is a standard and how can we purchase any in case we break or lose one of them? (Including the huge ships.)
David Jumeau looked like a standard large base. If something breaks, FFG will usually replace it. I have never seen better customer service than FFG has.

I was disappointed with rebels, cause the tone was confused. Idk if it was trying to market to children or adults or everyone? cause it kept trying to use this happy go lucky but then have dark overtones?

Lies. Disney + is a money grubbing band wagon tool that serves to only make those who can not afford it sad that they will not be able to see the 90% of content on the platform that is exclusive.
@@bradenvester4308 It's €80 per year. That's a whole lot cheaper then Netflix and it doesn't lose content like netflix does. Can't really see how people can't afford it. In the Netherlands even people without jobs could afford it.
Buck Luny can't afford because of all the subscription services. Xbox live, Netflix, Amazon prime. That is the problem. They say that streaming services are the future, but no one can get them all. Especially lower income families that can't get through one week without car troubles.
