Thank you for the coverage of the eruption. You should get an award for all the work you did. You provided more information on the volcano than the major news networks here in the USA. You were the "go too" for information. As for me and thousands of other folks that followed your reporting, we give you an A+ for the work that was involved. Thank you again. Your Chapter Two of the volcano and its aftermath is just as interesting. Don't stop what you are doing. Thanks for sharing all of this. Your friend in Northern Wisconsin, USA.

Man, you were freaking me out going so fast down those hills, lol. I know it’s not as bad as it seems on camera but it sure felt like you were going to fly off one of those curves 😬. Beautiful tour 👍🏻
Thank you for taking us along on your bike ride. Seemed like you were going very fast a few times , down hill . I heard my breath. . But a beautiful beautiful ride. Hope to see many more. Enjoyed video. Thank you for sharing.
My husband said you need a rear-view mirror for your safety. We have mountain bikers here in Oregon too and I slow down for them. Thank you for sharing beautiful La Palma with us.
Thank you, how horrible to see this destruction up close, whow the lava is so high! It was fun to zoom down the hills with you, glad you didn't put music on as it was cool to hear the wind, tires and gears changing.
Thanks for letting me enjoy a lovely cycling trip. I grew up on a bicycle, and in my thirties, I cycled all over China. Now (forty years later) I have severe mobility issues. But I get to see this wonderful island through you!
One hundred years from now, documents like this will be extremely valuable to anthropologists and a range of other researchers. I hope you'll interview experts as they come to study the wake of the eruptions and the effect on the land and the people. This is fantastic. Thank you.
If there is any anthropology or anthropologist at all!!! After all after hundreds of years we return all to god resurrected with all living beings ever existed... Anthropology will be brought back to life and it will not be for the sake of "logy" lol
Hi Bear, Wow, Your Ride Was Wild, I was in and out of my seat, and you made it to La Laguna and it was closed off, does that mean that no one can leave and how close the lava came to the Sports Area I Think We Saw Lighted Up During The Volcano, You are an expert Rider My Friend and Enjoyed All 27:54 Minutes Of This Video, You have A Beautiful And Prosperous New Week And Your Family, Much Love, Wendy
Oh my! Worried that someone would open a car door as "we" rode by! Lol. Good to hear that people are returning to their homes now. " Why did the chicken cross the road?" Lol.... I didn't know "bears could fly"! You were flying 🐻! Yes,a familiar view from the Church, but now without the smoke,fire,lava,noise@fear as before! You definitely get a workout riding those hills@mountains! Well thanks again for the ride@got my heart pumping a few times too! Looks like the people have cleaned up Alot of the ash along the roads@businesses. Thanks again@stay safe 🐻. GOD bless you! Until next time, cya.
Great video, lovely bike 🚲 ride! I wish for you an electric bike company would sponsor you. The island is so beautiful to ride around! To help support you I don’t skip commercials. Hope you keep making videos!👍🏻
It looks like cycling is rather hazardous there with the traffic! Good to see things are getting back to normal there. Keep up the videos; we're still watching. I hope someday I can visit your beautiful island. You've done so much to keep us informed. Thanks so much for all your hard work.
Wow, Bushcraft Bear, that was an exciting ride, especially downhill, you are braver than I could ever have been, it seemed about 40mph downhill. Thank you for another tour of the area, breathtaking scenes and beautiful blue skies. You must have covered quite a few miles in this nearly 28 minute video. Stay safe and well BB and be careful on the road. God bless you and your family and much 💖 to all.
Another great video. Looks like dangerous riding. Please be careful. Wear your vest. Make sure drivers will see you. Thank you. You are one of my favorite tubers.
Thanks for the great bike ride BCB - I get all the fun of it without the effort and risk. I'm sure you don't take risks, but do stay safe - car drivers aren't always careful enough of cyclists. I'm so glad you're continuing to update us with how La Palma is getting itself back together after that awful time. Lots of love to you and all the people of La Palma. 💗
Amazing mountain bike video. Impressive shock absorbers on it. View around the island is impressive. People everywhere driving and carrying on but then the lava comes into view and you then know things are not so perfect there. Going to need more earth moving equipment to get the roads cleared of cooled lava while the hotspots cool off later. Quite a bit of black ash on the ground and roads as well. Thank you for showing La Palma as it is today Ben!
Isn't it great to have the mountain bike? That was a pretty long ride you took us for - beautiful scenery - the colors are always so bright. I hope you can get rear view mirrors on your bike.
The cities are starting to look much cleaner and the air is fresh. Lovely scenery on La Palma, now, I want to visit this beautiful island. I would have been afraid for my life in the city driving. There was one close call when a driver passed you and almost hit an oncoming car in the opposing lane of traffic. So, many cyclist are hit and killed in this scenario. You have more courage than I do, Bushcraft Bear.
Cycling is not really a good idea in Spain, wherever there's regular vehicle traffic. Better off, off-road like Bushcraft Bear does. Oh he's gone for it here for a video. Not even safe on motorcycles and mopeds. It's bad in Italy too, and the more south go, even worse. Usually if around Italy for a few days, somewhere like Naples, will see ambulances picking people up off of the road, from the accidents. It's crazy enough in a car, and that's all I'd do, and convinced my kids too. Too many deaths from motorcycle accidents, even more than car accidents. There's been people who have lost more than one child, because of car and motorcycle accidents. There's too much daredevil in Spaniards. Cross the ocean for discovery of new continents? Send Spaniards. Sarcasm. One of the Formula I countries.
Thank you Bear for the great tour! Seeing the amount of lava up close is a real eye opener. Cannot imagine how frightening it must have been when happening. Thanks a million for your excellent coverage the whole time. Stay safe! Your island is beautiful.
I don't get car sick but must admit I got pretty queasy from you going so fast! Wow! I was scared somebody was going to hit you but I still loved seeing the island. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to video and show us so many beautiful things!
Lovely video of your bike ride. Glad there was no music. Its a Friday - miss you sharing God's word. Different season now I guess. Take care Keep safe. Jesus bless you. Best wishes& prayers from UK🙇👌
Thank you for this beautiful video mr Bear, i miss the Canary islands, the nature, the food the people. When all the pandemic is over maybe i will visit La Palma.
It's so wonderful to see such beautiful blue sky after so many months of Gray ash. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful island with us.
Thank you for the road trip. La Palma is truly a beautiful place. I would love to visit to experience first hand the beauty of the place and the people. I also intend to follow your coverage of LA Palma.
After watching your road trip on your bike I'm really happy that we have special lanes just for bikes, pedestrians sidewalks and their safety. We also have traffic lights that include bike Lanes. Portland Oregon thank you for all your reporting on the volcano I'm glad it's in the silent mode now. May your life there be happy again with clear skies.

I had the priviledge of visiting La Palma last month, just as the eruption was ending. It’s a stunning island & the locals are warm & very nice people. I visited a few of the locations featured here by BB. Its so nice to ‘re-Visit’ them through these vlogs. I would strongly urge anyone to visit La PaLma if you get the chance. Its just a couple of hours by ferry or a short plane hop from the other islands & is well worth the effort of getting there.
@@debz3503 Hi - unfortunately our paths didn’t cross. I visited all the viewpoints he features in his vlogs & did a bike ride similar to this vlog. Hopefully returning in March so maybe i’ll meet him then 🙂
Bushcraft, i've been watching your video's since the volcano started, you are the best, great reporting. You do deserve the best reward for your videos. But that bike ride down the hill a few times had me on the edge of my seat in my office at home, looked liked you were doing 70 MPH down the hill, lol, please be careful. we love you..
Good ride and thankful to see things are beginning to get back to their lives in their pretty town. Thank you for taking us along for your ride. It was fun!
You have done such a good job of taking us along on your experience of living with an erupting volcano. What a beautiful place! Happy New Year with peace and prosperity ❤️
