Great build. I use to be a small boat builder and I know the feeling of taking it out for the first time. It's a great feeling knowing you built the craft and now you have it out in the open water with the wind blowing through your hair. It's just something that is hard to describe. Great jobs guys.

I would extend the exhaust stacks to above the roof line. At present the exhaust fumes (Carbon Monoxide) are blowing in your face. Great build .... watched it all from Townsville, Australia.
Everything looks good , my hats off to you guys still in tradional way of building boats. Although this diesel engine is noisey and smokey but still thumbs up. We use outboards(mesin tempel) and they cause a fortune. U guys make it very beautifull ,sturdy and simpel yet it cuts through the water with ease. 👌👌👌
love the boat and the masters who built it, I too would connect the two exhaust stacks into one and either run it under the floorboards and out the back or just extend the pipes above the roof line

Beautiful boat. The black smoke from the engines indicates the propeller pitch is to high. Not good for the long term health of the engines. Blessings from Australia 🙏
Excellent craftsmanship; a waterproof tarp on side-rolls (retractable) could solve the problem of rain water; additionally, could add small solar pump to get rid of the rain water. By the way; extended exhaust-pipe above roofline would be very healthy and you could box the engine compartment with coconut fiber pads used for sound proofing in the buildings. Overall very good job; well-done guys. What is the main wood used for frame and dowels?

I wonder if it was out in the rain all night or it just leaks that much, with all that water piled up in there.

The timbers will eventually swell up and the leaking will stop..
I think that pretty normal for boat in Asia to take in water. Water coming in from the drive shaft. This is intended so it can cool it down.
