So currently I own a 2010 Mazda 3 and it still drives great! Wala akong naging sakit ng ulo and all I needed to spend big was on its wheels and AC compressor for the last 13 years it has been with me but I am planning to let it go already. My family has a 2020 Xpander and both Mazda 3 and Xpander are really not that hungry for gas but still, gas is gas. We need to fuel up whenever we use it so technically we spend thousands on gas but when I saw this Ice Cream EV, at first I thought it was just an expensive Go Cart but I was surprised when I watched the reviews that it is really a legit car that can be taken to the expressways! WOW! So I am now thinking of maybe getting this to replace my 13 year old Mazda 3. Since I am single and my family has got their own car, in case I will be needing a gas powered vehicle then I can take the Xpander with me but for my own use, darn it! I am tempted to get this Matcha colored Ice Cream EV! Not bad for a car that can save me up tons of money and help save the environment through harmful gas emissions. I think a test drive will help me make my decision. :)
Still can't over the name and how fun it is to... maybe not drive but just be inside it. I feel bad for the original importer of this but I'm glad we're getting this kind of cars here, I hope they become a hit! Great review as always bossing!

well, no. The tax incentive is more on it not being affected by TRAIN but for the most part, there isn't any law or incentive in the PH to actually lower the prices. Plus there aren't any solid infra yet to make EVs a norm plus it's still pretty new in a market that doesn't really have much of an EV market so it's to be expected that the price is somewhat high but if you look at it overall, it's not even that expensive.

There were even time before 2022 that Chinese buyers get to enjoy up to 60,000 Yuan's worth of discounts when purchasing an EV (which is worth 460,415.05 PHP as per computations I did right now). Plus with China's upcoming incentive package which will give around 30,000 Yuan in incentives for 2024 & 2025 which most likely affected the current price of the Chery QQ Ice Cream, most likely than not the original price of the Chery QQ Ice Cream would most likely be around 60,000 Yuan (or even more) which is around 460K PHP if there were no incentives in China. And with the price we have here, it isn't really far off and is quite understandable.
