The world is currently facing a crisis of inflation, and I'm unsure about the discussions among global leaders in G7 or G20. Inflation is taking a toll on people's mental well-being. It seems that these groups primarily serve the interests of the business world, resembling boardrooms or lobbying efforts. It appears that they are less concerned about the common people and the inflation crisis. The private sector seems to have a significant influence on global affairs and may be manipulating factors to raise prices

Such a shame. London is an incredible city that offers opportunities in every sense apart from an affordable place to live. I'd love o say I'm proud of my capital city, but I'm not even proud of my country. Most people won'r be earning even close to £40k by their 30s let alone £60k which you'd need to support a family. Double that if you want to live even in zone 3-4 of London. We can forget buying a house in of the major city regions. My generation will rent forever, the property market has no future outside of the already rich, inherited property of foreign investors. You do have to ask the question, why do we stay in the UK? I think most wouldn't even contemplate the question.

Lots of people who live in MK commute into London as it’s not bad if you are able to work hybrid. That way they get the high salary, but their living costs are lower than London. Worth some thought if you’re chasing the money.

You are being intentionally distracted from real systemic issues like providing adequate funding for the NHS (basically anything with a whiff of socialism the wealthy class wants to get rid of so they can pay less tax and get more profit).
Immigration is hugely helpful to the economy. Immigrants are almost always healthy young people who are not a burden to the benefits or care system. The housing crisis isn’t caused by new people, it’s caused by not building enough houses of an appropriate type (luxury condos are not what’s needed), and by keeping current housing stock in liveable repair. There are also too many zoning restrictions.
