How do we know some of these creatures were as aggressive as they claim? The Alligator Gar is quite menacing looking yet is one of the least aggressive fish, same thing with the sturgon. We've never able to observe these animals behaiviors so how can science make such bold claims about animals that have been extinct millions of years. We barely know anything about the behaviors of the creatures that currently exist in the open ocean, yet despite such factual inefficiencies science has no problem making these crazy assumptions about creatures they never observed. Like the super long neck one that had 7 ft long flippers. Just because he had 7 foot long flippers doesn't mean he goes to the bottom of the ocean. Perhaps he used those flippers to help swim up stream of a giant prehistoric river where they would breed and needed the powerful flippers to get up stream a river moving fast like the Congo river but 1 mile wide? We don't know if those long neck long flippers animals intruded into fresh like many animals do in the modern age, but it is stated with such certainty their purpose was for diving miles down into the deep. The statement doesn't even stand up to basic laws of physics because how would a creature with such a long skinny neck survive that pressure? The neck would be crushed paper thin. They make all these statements that cannot be backed up or substantiated.

FunKawaii lily Except since not all humans need to go in the area of rivers, seas, oceans it seems unlikely it could kill humans that don't go in the oceans, lakes, rivers, etc.
It seems more likely if it is a land animal.
If a big lizard which is bigger than the komodo dragon or a huge snake the Titanaboa were both still alive plus large numbers then most humans would likely be dead.

It's very hard to believe a Megladon shark is still alive because for centuries no humans have seen 1 in the water, and it's pretty hard to believe great white sharks and orcas would most likely be close to extinct if a Megladon shark was still alive
I say that because if I recall right on shark week they said something about why a Megladon shark shouldn't be labeled extinct

I wonder how many animals that are thought of as cannibalizing the young actually just had unique birthing processes and threw out perhaps a poison while pregnant to interupt predation, but was still on occasion partially mauled along with unborn young before the predator died or left.
