@@swatiyadav640 in Mysore bani ,they don't do that adavu as we do in any other bani. The adavu ends in side not in back.its a detail in Mysore bani. Actually it's a unique step to use. . If Bharatanatyam was first done in a temple for the gods, I imagine the gods must be pleased. A more synchronized performance I have rarely seen. And beautiful shots with the camera!
Bharatanatyam was never performed for the gods but Sadirattam was. Unfortunately, By the time the term 'Bharatanatyam' came into existence it had already reached for kings and local patrons and to the general public. As Sadirattam the movements were much more subtle and a form of enchantment. So ofcourse gods would have been more than pleased !!
Olden time dance called temple dance in front of God, by respected Devadasi females ,but Bharathanatyam first modernised and performed by late Smt. Rukminidevi Arundale in Tamilnadu. Lord Shiva father dance, like diff Thandavas.
Parshwanath - if people say you are the future of Bharatnatyam ... they are mistaken... you are already the best that there can be. You have already taken this dance form much beyond this age... Such flawless performance, Superb choreography, impeccable synchronization... dying to see you live again... in mumbai :)
I'm watching this video in between my Master's exam.. this performance has made me happy and calmed me down in a way I cannot explain, I wish I can once meet all of you and learn from you.. Pranam from a student who has started learning Bharatnatyam few years back and thank you for motivating me to never stop learning :D
I think I have no watched this hundreds of times. I'll keep watching. It is compelling, mesmerising, gorgeous. Thank you to all the artists and technicians etc involved.
I have watched this so many times since many momths but each timeI watch this I feel thrilled & amazed anew. What an amazing oerformance - so precise, so gorgeous.
Perfection of movement transcends the matter of bodies in divine spirit. The contemplation of this dance is a mystical experience ! This is what this sacred beauty inspires me as a catholic.
I've been watching this composition performed in collaboration with Harini Jeevitha on repeat. Now I'll switch to this one. What brilliant choreography, music, costumes, lighting, camera work!! I'm running out of superlatives!
Omg are you all real . Stunning . Unbelievable performance. Just scintillating. Absolutely beautiful performance by all three n wow what a musical support total masterpiece 💐💐💐
Just can't take off my eyes from this splendid performance. The song, the dance, the makeup, the steps, the facial expressions..... oh my god..... am running out of words.
Some films are giving wrong ideas to people that if a man does Indian classical dances they will be like ladies. Their walking... Etc... What nonsense. In that case how they are ready to do western... Here you can see the Gents' tandava bhava and the Lady's lasya bhava... Totally different. Otherwise also people are so curious to tarnish our culture... And to run after western culture.. The dancers, Excellent 🙏🙏🙏 Music and pakkamelam superb🙏🙏🙏
The extreme expertise, choreography, attire, ambience, musical symphony, altogether harmonises to make the performance beyond exquisite. My subtle gift of words for the phenomenal act.. "The feet, retrieved from the dreamy frames, To speak the tale of rhythm in glace, The celestial blend sparkled the symphony in pace, As beauteous as the coloured feathers in dance ; The gleam of rays spread over; so as to feast the hearts, in grace.." Arathy.
Watch and listen once, you'll be watching & listening over and over and over and over. Mesmerising, compellingly beautiful and glorious. Each and everytime you watch and listen.
Wow wow wow and more wow 🙏 Divine Dimensions where brought down by this dancers, the geometry of the divine made visual for human eyes to see and ears to listen. 🙏 A perfect synchronized choreography , the hastas matching with the lyrics at the right moments forming one unity ... For sure Sarasvatī was pouring her boons over them all the time. All my blessings to Parshwanath Upadhye , his wife and the new dancer Adithya (I see him here for the first time). I still remember when they danced with Harinie Jeevitha ... Now the dance has developed and enriched. Thank you very much for sharing. Dhanyavādah 🙏
such a perfect choreography and beautiful treat for eyes, very professional dancers.. was very pleased to see the performance, the expressions and the posture.Color of the costume was unique too
Beautiful. Graceful. All scientific and other conferences held India should start with Indian classical music and dances so that it reaches far and wide. Male bharatnatyam dancers in this video were so damn graceful. Loved it. Need more male dancers like them for sure. God bless this team and their guru parampara.
Absolutely nice to look at the male dancers.. The female too.. nice catup with the speed of the male dancers.. I think it's not easy to remember all steps n hv perfect execution. Really wanted to see more male dancers doing this routine..
Amazing, Am sri Lankan but I allmost understood most word's. Both male category expressed professional skills of Barata natayam. Harmony of whole act well blend. That's what we expect modern day of life greater heritage of oriant
This is so mesmerizing 😍 and the costumes are so perfect with minimum ornaments....the whole performance is so beautiful ....thankyou so much for uploading this
What an exacting performance by a trio. Beautiful coordination and balance with utmost precision in a tightly confined space. Choreography can be this good!
What a sinchronized performance it is🙏🙏🙏🙏 could not take my eyes out for a second...world needs more people like you🙏🙏🙏 truely amazing ❤️ I pray to god that I get an opportunity to get trained under you 🙏

Bharatnatyam was taught by Shiva Himself for us Humanity ! Health wealth and Bakthi in the form of Dance !

I am Chinese, and I adore Indian classical dance and music!
So nice 👍. Wishing you all the best from India
The Chinese classical dance forms have a lot of similarities to Indian dance forms. Especially south Chinese dance forms have similarities to odissi.
Бхаратнатьям - это совершенство танцевального искусства .
А танцующие мужчины -- просто не оторваться !
