I bought this after seeing it on your instagram, and am blown away by it. It's is quite expensive (they're going to do 50ml for around £125, which is better) but I think it's really worth it. It's a beautiful scent that's really transportative, and the performance is great (8 hours plus easily). I really love this! Great video as ever guys, you're always on the money.
😅I have a love/hate relationship with you guys: love because you are the best; hate because everything you review I want! I can't imagine banana. It should be gross but the sandalwood and cardamom sounds beautiful. Whenever I see gourmand that is always a pass for me. Thanks for the review as always.
@@WaftsfromTheLoftI was in the middle of typing this comment when the postman just delivered my sample of Strangelove Dead of Night, which I need to put on and let it dry down. As for gourmands: I can't stand them either. I used to rent/live with a lady who burned gourmand based candles and plug ins in every room of the house but my bedroom. 🚫😷 the house smelled like a freakin' bakery.
Sounds a great fragrance guys, love your channel for bringing us these unique houses. Keep up the great work. You guys deserve waaay more subs.... Atb Lee
Just got my samples of Ånd, Sånd has such an amazing opening, I loved it, it smelled like a sweet banana bread. After a few minutes I started to get 80s flavoured erasers. My partner got dentist's masks that used to knock you out with laughing gas😄
I actually am looking for a banana fragrance. And I love Cardamon and sandlewood. Is it a good banana? So is this a summer fragrance, fall? All Year? This sounds so interesting. Just picked up Dixit and Zak Rising Mysore 2 with a beautiful sandlewood. Great video.
I might have to try making a banana and cardamom cake/bread, in Sweden we do bake a lot with cardamom. Sounds like an interesting combination. Now living in Australia I have had the opportunity to smell the Australian sandalwood that you spoke about.
I really wanted to get these fragrances after seeing this review. I went to website and contacted them, but they don’t ship to the USA. If you know if anyway I can get these, please let me know. Thanks
They are a young company. It's very difficult and expensive to ship to the US (Dangerous goods prohibition) but hopefully it will be possible as they expand.
The balance in fragrances makes me think of a similar concept in Ayurvedic medicine. Depending on your body type and metabolism, you may want to balance certain physiological propensities with ingredients that help reign in the extremes. Spices to invigorate the apothetic, warm florals to douse the flames. It seems like perfumers can do so much with sandalwood. Time for a banana break! 🍌
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are so passionate in your reviews. Love that ❤️
Just doing what we love!
Banardamom! Can't believe Simon didn't use that 🤷♂️😆 Really enjoyed this one and Måd which is a sensational Vanilla scent. Thanks for this one guys.
Hahaha! Missed a trick there! Cheers Chris. I think Simon is doing really wonderful things here. Looking forward to testing the rest of the range.
nice to see you both. Great video btw.
Thanks!
Wafts from The Loft you two boys should do a RUclips interview with Matthew MELEG.
He’s a very interesting person.
Wafts from The Loft it’s because of you both and your fabulous Chanel I found Matthew MELEG and his creations.

Gourmand is normally a pass for me, can’t stand them, but this has surprised and impressed me hugely

That'll be the cardamom!
It sounds AMAZING! Weird, but brilliantly imaginative and creative. Have to get my hands on a flask!
Cheers from Sweden!

It's a great banana, but very big. Weirdly this works well on a cold and a hot day!

Have you tried the rest of Matthew maleg’s collection? Number 57. Is a must have.
We have done a video on some of his fragrances, but haven't tried them all yet.
Bacon, did you say?
Rich Mitch yep!
@@WaftsfromTheLoft I would like to send some samples to you for you're delectation, how can I?
Big banana opening is not new at Lush. Check out Fantabulosa - big banana followed by chamomile and oakmoss,
Ah, thanks for the tip

Apparently it will be £125 for 50ml, which is VERY reasonable for the quality.
