Alright, who mashed up my f-22 and f-18 kits
That's exactly what I thought too
Some Russian transfer student to my right. He's pretty good tho, I'mma admit XD
Fr bro
first thing I thought lol
THICC F-18 I called it
Its like an f18 and an f22 had a baby
That has missing chromosomes

Your f22 is fucked by hothis war easyli and your f 16 is fucked by mig 29 by Indian polite
It's a thicccc F-18.
F-18 combined with an F-22
A stealth pancake? Sounds better than flying saucer.
He should have chosen to migrate to Iran. Maybe he would have made an actually good concept of the Qaher-313 that entered production.
That's one thought. But I had wondered if China would not have been a better choice. They've been trying to breakaway from Russia's offering so they may have been more open to his ideas'
Reportedly Iran went from begging Russia for the Su-35, which would significantly improve their air force, to telling Russia "eh, we can build our own airframes". I wonder if they got hold of this guy's designs.
@@xkavarsmith9322 Well, the big problem of Iran isn’t the airframe, they can make an 3rd gen airframe. It’s about building the engines and avionics that makes Su-35 the difference.
Poor dude would probably just had been killed by some Israeli spy...
Yes, Shafaq makes more sense than Qaher-313
Remember, it only counts IF THEY BUILT IT
If that's the case you're watching the wrong channel...
Even then the design has to do what 'it says on the tin', they don't.
Off topic but...the film series 007 actually built most of what you see on screen...so what's Russia actually doing?! I mean when MGM can build a better anything as a working set piece than Russia has made ever kinda says it all.

Time for another video bout a batshit crazy lookin plane again from found and explained
Well if you want a batshit crazy looking plane this is the place to be. Let them others do the boring normal ones
Kerbal Space Program players be like: "Write that down, write that down~!"
I'm confused lol - "In the Soviet Union it beat all competition".... yet it was designed largely in the late 90's/early 2000s when the USSR no longer existed.. and was only a paper concept that never actually flew?
THICC BOI, LOOKS LIKE THE X-32,J-20 AND SU-57 HAS A NEW CHALLENGER IN TERMS OF THICCNESS

*IVAN, DID YOU EXCLUDE PHYSICS FROM THE DESIGN AGAIN?!*
DA
😅😅
Physics. Isn't that about putting all them bubbles in your coke.
@@bigblue6917 That's Fizzix.according to PR-language.
Da. American capitalist fysiks no good. My design use _superior_ *soviet* *_revolutionary_* fysiks!
The Avrocar was a hovercraft. It didn't have wings, it just "flew" via directed thrust. I believe there were ideas to develop it into a lifting body, probably not too dissimilar from the Flying Flapjack, but the real-life prototypes never got that far.
3:51 - big mistake in the model here. The Flying Pancake had counter rotating props, with the prop tips moving outwards at the top. The generated propwash was intended to counteract the HUGE amount of tip vortex generated by the very low aspect ratio wing with its huge tip spillage.
So whenever a new plane design appeared, he simply drew a circle using a compass...
What a beautiful design. It's a genuine mix of art and sciences producing such and interesting silhouette. It's the sort of thing that looks like sci-fi but could actually exist in the realm of reality. Perhaps it could find a place in flight sims like the Ace Combat series.
It's a pity none of these were built even as a testbed to see how well the concept worked.
If there's any merit to this design, then this just proves that innovation is _wasted_ on the Russian system
Any communist system basically destroys innovation.
When it comes to aircraft Russia never quite gets a handle on it.
It was an awful time in Russia. The designer of the Strike One pistol for example had to flee Russia after he refused to bribe half the administration to have his design accepted as the new pistol for the Russian police.
@@bigblue6917Russian aircraft look fantastic though, they seem to export a lot of them?
Never underestimate your opponents 🇷🇺🇺🇸
F-22: you F-18 wanna netflix and chill?
Netflix : Are you still watching?
Some random kid getting over it with someone else :
I feel like this design does not like high speeds
I swear, why do I get memories of that one jet in GTA5, where they mashed up an F-16 and F-18?☠️
Looks like something produced when designers got told to maximize radar signature. Looks like the best dogfighter in the age of beyond visual range missiles.
Lol, the ICM MiG-29 kit as a prop. I died.
That design looks a lot better than the own as you 57 and the sukoy jets
He knew he needed to base his aircraft on a "flight proven" design... so choosing the large rotating disc, present on American AWACS aircraft, was the obvious choice.
Those AWACS were biplanes, right? /s
It sounds like he just saw the coolest thing on the market and slapped a small circle wing on it
Rounded shapes like that must make quite a big spot on radar..
Several things are missing. Did the designer have an aero engineering degree? Were any wind tunnel tests done of reasonably size models? Had the designer a history of creating any other aircraft and were they successful? I suspect the answer to all these questions is no and that is the reason the aircraft never went anyplace.
It's because it was a stolen design from Testors plastic model ftom the 80s. It's just more stylized.
flying saucers do not use aerodynamics for propulsion, but the propulsion field that surrounds the saucer shaped platform does move the atmosphere around it.
Beautiful video, editing must have taken a lot of time. Good work.
Well you see, kids, when an f-18 and f-22 love each very much... the f-18 extends his refueling probe...then, um.. you know, thingy
Ok that's funny. I laughed at this.
Lmfaoooo the f18 also sometimes has an arresting hook below the engines lol
...The After Burns.
@@ivanlom5948ALWAYS, not sometimes. It's there the entire time.
Just gotta say i like the clutter on tha digital desk, as well as all your animations and these "rooms" you make
Dear Nick.
This comment is off topic to the video:
I would like to point your attention to the German designer Luigi Colani, who designed several planes, within that the Megalodon superplane with four levels and a hypersonic design.
I would appreciate if you could make some videos of those concepts.
Thanks in advance
Never heard of it. Closest was the Mig-37(?) Ferret and the MIG/SUKHOI LFI & Etc programs…
I love the Mig-1.44.
Dear Nick.😮
Would appreciate to see a video about disk wings/round wings as shown in this video.
(Not to be confused with the already shown ring wings).
14:30 amazing fighter jet design ... nice video
I assume the word Shafak means the same as Şafak (same pronunciation) in the Turkish language as Persian and Turkish share quite a few words. If so Şafak/Shafak means Dawn/First Light of the day. The project itself seems very interesting. Can't wait to see the civil aviation story of Mr. Mohammedov.
It's an intriguing concept ...
it reminds me with some sort of Airplane toy 😅
It's based off a plastic Testors scale model from the 80s.
@@TeamDoc312which one?
If you want a good and cheap lightning effect done in Blender (I suppose this is the program you are using), get a cube, principled volume shader, musgrave texture multiplied and plugged into density till it looks likea cloud, put a point light at the bottom part, slightly inside, and it should look like a light from within the cloud. With good lighting conditions it looks really great when you make the lamp blue and make it just vibrate with light now and than (which can be automated using noise and Limits modifiers)
Great vid!!!
can you make a video about the saab J41 vampyren or the saab j38 vargen
I love these videos
Best video yet
Saw the Darkstar on the Top Gun movie and thought it was real like the Chinese did and got working 😂
few of the aircraft does have circular shapes between hull and wing. not so extreme as this one but its not so new either
I’m not gonna lie… that sponsorship had me hooked
Guy looks at F22 and F18 and goes …hmmmm🤔
Wow really unique design
I really like this design, it's very cute
The science fiction franchise Battletech has a couple of aerospace fighters with circular wing designs. They are described as unstable in atmospheric flight, so they are confined to space operations only.
The nearest you'll get to watching two planes having a baby together, an F-18 with an F-22.
i2000 reporting name "flapjack" probably
great video
Ive seen this as a plastic model with the wings splitting and forming an x from the top view. The designer seems like "Tesla" but for military aircraft.
The hover pen looks like another "kamikoto knives" scam
Looks like Russia tried to make an F22/18 Raptor Hornet.
do you have any tutorials on your process for making these videos?
If F22 Mating with F18 hornet:
Look at the SU-57. Now look at the Mig i2000. Looks strangely familiar.
i defo wanna see his other civilian designs ^^
All those paper projects are really UFOs - Unpossible Flying Objects 😁🤘
Do you know the name for the Soviet concrete monorail project? Or is it not named
The Red Raptor.
I'm gonna use this name now
Cool!
the storytelling aspect of this video is on another level compared to your previous videos
absolutely inceredible
RIP Mr.Mohamadov
If the concept was that good, someone would have implemented it. But this form is unstable and will not allow you to develop high speed.
I've never ever ever ever seen that actually.
This is the definition of having a great idea and sticking with it... but not really since Russia will just pick the one contractor who pays them the most rubles and does everything free lmao
“like all stories it started in the 60’s”
13:25 The f35 isn't designed for high cruise speeds. Its engines specifically switch over to extremely high fuel efficiency during cruise, which gives it more range. Its designed for higher thrust during combat, which is what you actually need. Almost anything can have a "higher cruise speed/max speed" than the f35, because cruise speed/max speed is irrelevant in modern air fighting doctrine and the F35 isnt designed for it. A total of ~3 seconds of air combat ever was at these speeds.
Everyone boasts about being "faster than the f35" while the f35 is snickering at how dated your air combat doctrine is.
if it can fly sideways and reverse at similar mach speeds then that’s impressive.
Cool bird!
Wait wait wait! Where is the famous CHECK AND MATE??
it looks like the F-22+F-18+FAXX
So, they ignored his designs - not once, but multiple times... then they went "You work for us, or you work for nobody..." and then proceeded to ignore them again? They obviously didn't (and still don't) know what they want - or when they just _may_ have _possibly_ a god idea on their hands... and that's exactly the mindset that ultimatively lost them the friggin' Cold War... and it still prevails to this day...
Fascinating, thank you.
Russia always said no to good planes.
F-18+F-22= what ever this thing is
2F-40?????
Hmm.. wouldn't the circular root of the wing cause instability and create unnecessary drag? I feel like it would be wildly inefficient for a military plane, that being said, i cant help but like the way the later designs looked with the wings swept more rearward so i say the design has some merit. Too bad it'll probably never be built. 😕
This channel is the epitome of 'bruh'
In soviet Russia engineers don't copy, they just reaffirm their correct decisions
Circular wings are cool looking. If they'd have worked out, I think general aviation would be all over it.
Wow! Nice!
Its like the flying pancake of the 40s with small wings and a tail
Doa video on the WW2 YB-40 its a crazy B-17
I think his idea didn’t come from what you said I think it was to provide more for the hover pen because it looks like something that would hover
Realy I like this powerful fighters jets
Paper planes beat every other one in imagination.
1 The " W " type wing designe from Yugoslavia is missing here by the author.
2 There is even more crazy round airplane-zeppeline-helicopter in existence by a russian engineer.
It's actually not unlike any other fighter. There were fighter designs like that in WW2. Pancake something? I forget.
Remember I-16? This is him now.
Glow up?
Hey this was in airforce delta
Is this the plane that was designed alongside the MFI aka the 1.44.
Damn, it's a scary one. Too bad it never see the light of day.
Russia literally said use addition f22+f18+su57+"y"f23+f14
Round wings would stop induced dutch rolls over swept wings
realley truu storrey! )))

The new US Raider X helo looks like a Soviet design.😊
My god, let him build his aiercraft 😢
