Please, more fallout 4. Fallout 4 minuteman faction was a large-scale militia who had major success and even tried to start the CPG, aka the commonwealth provisional government. And yet, the commonwealth barely shows any evidence of such a faction. Here are my favorite 3 mods that create a revolutionary change to the worldspace that shows an actual presence of a faction like the minutemen. Scrappy Turrets Replacer. Minuteman watchtowers redux. Minutemen supply caches.
Imagine a campaign where a cosmic event is somehow known to be impending. Months upon months unto years nearing a decade worth of the same thunderstorm churns across the world. A tropical rain of 45 mph downward pour. Torrential.
Have you sent this to the people who's mods you used, I think they'd like to see how you've put it together. They might even find a way to team up on something.
One note about gas masks of the Commonwealth, Mama Murphy's outfit is all one piece including her hat so when she equips a gasmask she strips. I found that out when showing my friend the mod and after rescuing Preston and Gang and leaving the Museum, there was Mama Murphy in all her (slim athletic cbbe type) glory. We literally could not stop laughing at the moment.
Had the same problem when I had a caesar's legion mod and gave her some legate armor, and accidentally removed it and she was permanently stuck to her chair, as naked as the day she entered the world... why did Todd Howard give her an actual detailed naked bod?? 😳
It and nuclear winter by the same mod author are great mods and I think worth checking out but they run a lot of scripts so it’s difficult to get them to play well with other script heavy mods like sims-settlements. I’ve actually not had to many problems with GMOW but it’s definitely not a background mod
@@josuebartley7272 Sim Settlements is the only other script heavy mod I used with GMotW. For me the gas mask overlay often appeared as a window pane behind my character in 3rd person. The HUD element kept screwing up. But most severely of all I just was not able to change my filter after 20 or so hours. Resetting the mod did not work. Dropping all masks and filters and spawning new filters did not work. So I just gave up and stopped using it.
I love heavy burns, but production value won’t beat actual good content. This list is very bland & these mods have issues. Making a stable modlist requires 40 hours of testing to make sure it works. Messing around with different mods to see what works and what doesn’t. No one wants to do that. Making a video for a modlist for a game you don’t even play is a bad idea.
xbox user here. as Rustbelt isnt available and tends to be buggy, i used Verdant Wasteland with some flora reskins. sometimes i use Verdant Wasteland, Fungal Forest, and Fungal Commonwealth together, but that takes up tons of space, almost a whole gigabyte.
As an Xbox One user, I think the best overhaul ever would be a FO4 overhaul that lets me walk in downtown Boston for more than thirty-two seconds without crashing.
I would recommend adding Feral Nights and Feral Infestations to this list. The first one makes it so there's a chance for a pack of ferals to hunt down the player at night if they aren't at a settlement with sufficient defenses and the second one makes it so there is a chance for feral infestations to spawn at an area. These infestations can grow and eventually come to attack your settlements if they aren't dealt with.
I imagined a intermittent earthquake & thunderstorm. Anywhere for a few moments to several hours worth at a time. Acid rain, radiation clouds, death claws, radscorpion, feral ghoul hordes &.....
There is something I want to ask. We see overpass highways all around the Commonwealth and while they are partially destroyed, they are still standing after two-hundred years and have been used as small areas for bases. Why don't settlers consider using them seeing as how you'd be protected by thick concrete, plenty of scraps to use from old cars, buses and semi-trucks. There would be no threat to them from raiders or any creatures unless they go down themselves. And seeing as how they are up in the air, turbines would perfect. If there is a chance to consider a Mod, why not call it "Highway Men" or something along those lines and it wouldn't just be one place, it could be all over seeing as how there are plenty of partially destroyed overpasses that still connect all the way to Boston.
Someone should make a mod where the Third Rail gets more performers than just what's her name. Would love to see Vintage Dream and others rotating through

I also use animated accessible backpacks, carry weight revised and scavvers backpacks to simulate a more realistic inventory system where you actually have to put things into your backpack. I have literally just reloaded Fallout 4 this weekend for another play through. This video is just what I needed. Thanks for an awesome informative video. It is great to see people still doing videos for this amazing game.
I literally cannot believe the incredible production uality of this video! SO well done, so vibrant and enticing, the intro alone made me sub! I loved this, nobody meets this standard, no one!!
This looks outstanding! Great vid! I saw that Project Rainforest for Skyrim recently got updated and is an amazing overhaul of Skyrim, going from the winter cold to a vibrant tropical vibe. Would love to see your take on a tropical skyrim.
to be honest, I actually really like fallout 4's base atmosphere. It feels desolate and barren but it still feels like a world that has settled after the death of civilisation. The apocalyptic emptiness is eerie but it isn't obsessed over. You can still clearly hear and feel the same atmosphere as if you went out into a steppe or semiarid region nowadays, which is what an apocalypse should feel like. Compared to the older games, where the world is perpetually in a "bombs just dropped everything is gone" kind of vibe, with silly winds and spooky noises everywhere, just a completely unrealistic ambience. Adding atmospheric horror is just kind of flavouring for people who want it.
I think its fine to like the atmosphere the way it is- that being said I don't think it's intentionally trying to feel barren, I think its that way accidentally, which I suppose some could argue is better because the game doesn't try to hard- that being said, it doesn't try at all imo. Fallout 4 seems post-post-apocalyptic, which just.. feels kinda stale(to me, anyway) Supposedly the whole commonwealth has gone to shit, with no minutemen raiders and mercenaries have taken over, a band of rogue scientists is body snatching left and right and simply no place is safe, and yet the atmosphere provides you no sense of tension, and only a couple handfuls of enemies that only just serve as a threat to that seven year old stuck in the fridge- it just doesn't make sense to me. I actually think Fallout 4s mistake for me is that they thought if the worldspace was so barren it would invoke a feeling of dread in a way, a silence at the end of all things, but it falls short of that and just makes ya tired of staring at the same dead tree and and bathtub with a tire in it over and over and over again. I hope I wrote that right, I'm autistic so I can sound kinda agressive or condescending and I don't mean to
I've said this so many times; If Bethesda had put one or two more years into development before releasing the game, it would've been the best fallout game of all time, at least gameplay wise
Man, I really thought this was the guy from Thoughty2 and Mr Anderson LP combined 🤣. First time watching, love the video so far. Gonna add him to my secret council of RUclipsrs I go to for anything on Fallout 🤫.
I recently watched Chernobyl, and in it I learned that the whole gas mask thing being the way you avoid radiation in video games kinda doesn't make sense. Radiation penetrates into your body straight through you. The way to avoid radiation sickness is by insulating your body against it, usually with some kind of dense metal, like lead.
I hope it goes well. I am recreating The Underdark of Dungeons & Dragons with mine. All that remains are Draegloths, Drow & various mixed ancestry renditions of Drow of every color, shape & size. Invading world after world from it's very core granting access to the planet by ion transference. This resulting in being present at the surface or beneath the surface is a matter of how much energy is put to making it so at all.
I’m on PS4, but it’s fun to see this. For me, dark nights, dark settlements, and no glow moss/fungus, were my favorite changes. I also found one where enemies leveled with you, and the nearly every area has a boss mob that’s tanky af. Vaultman, was it’s name. Another amazing mod decreases the radius of light from its source. There’s several versions with shorter and shorter radii. Things look so different.
Well done! I'm a gamer that still enjoys FO4 un-modded, except by the official DLC, on my XB1 console. The mods, especially the recent ones, are very intriguing, but in the end, I still resist incorporating them into my personal gameplay. However, based on my military CBR training, some form of the "gas mask" damage mitigation mod would enhance game immersion, especially in "survival" mode. Just as long as it is game compatible and some of the NPCs aren't unintentionally forced to drop all other of equipped costume elements. Mama Murphy appearing only her underwear would definitely be counter-productive to game immersion.
I don't think I've ever uninstalled the game, I still use the PC that I bought in 2012, it was an absolute beast back in the day, got it to run Cyberpunk 2077 but it recently flat out refused to play Sons of the Forest. I started a heavily modded playthrough on survival recently, cranked up the spawns with Worldwide Ghouls and Infestation and it ran with little to no drop in performance.
Not sure which feral mod that adds them, but if you think those ferals displayed here are horrible to witness, wait till you see a swaddled child feral. You will now horror. You. Will.
I like it, creates a bit more STALKER-ish vibe, which I generally always missed in Bethesda Fallout games. Will def try some of these mods! Thanks buddy!

I detest mods that turn the Commonwealth into an irradiated landscape, they're completely unrealistic. Nuclear fallout usually reduces to immediately safe levels (meaning you might get cancer but you won't turn into a Ghoul) within a few weeks. Far more realistic and to my taste are mods that show nature reclaiming the commonwealth, that reduce the number of NPCs giving you a far greater sense of being the sole survivor.
I'd like the nature mods more if the flora was slightly mutated, since radiation has a half-life if I recall, so it would soak into the soils and water sources for a good amount of time
Had to laugh at the singer with the pipe gun inside her leg, RoboCop style 😁 My formula: a couple of zombie mods, a darker nights mod and a flashlight mod, that's about it 👍👍
im in the middle of playing a skyrim playthrough with tons of the mods you've shown, was planning a fallout one and im so excited you made this vid! clutch!
Does anyone else wish that Bethesda offered occasional NPC/Companion dialog upgrades? For us loyal FO4 addicts, it would be a relief after multiple play-throughs.
Ok, what do I need to add to my new gaming pc to help it run all of this stuff? Currently I’m on a mostly vanilla play through and when leaving an inside area and entering back into the outside world, it takes a long time to load. What should I do?
Great job man, Fallout 4 is one of my favorites, absolutely loved it, you gave it a respectful and awesome touch with the narration and visual flair 👏 I can tell you are in fact a fan😁👍
Would be nice if there's also a town/city/safehouse overhaul, i dont see the point on why after 200 years some roads and cities are still not fixed/refreshed by the people occupying it. as well as settlement overhaul would be nice, like some of the ghouls wandering around and your settlers will defend every now and then (better A.I)
Vivid weathers is kind of nice, but it won't let you mess around the timescale. There is also that you can't really look up at the sky, as all the clouds look weird in a the sperhe they're painted on. If you're up for immersion, you *need* to change the timescale. I prefer True Storms, as it also lets you add more challenges; Ghouls spawn in radstorms / Far Harbor mists and so on. You'll need to combine it with WET for rain textures, though - as you'll not see a damned thing with vanilla rain textures.

I have literally just reloaded Fallout 4 this weekend for another play through. This video is just what I needed. Thanks for an awesome informative video. It is great to see people still doing videos for this amazing game.
I highly recommend Polluted climate and true storms for a gas mask playthrough! Especially with true storms hordes feature during storms
0:46 uuu what mech is that on the right of the screen?
Faction Reinforcements
Your the only channel I watch n trust for overhauls
to be honest, I actually really like fallout 4's base atmosphere.
Finally! Fallout 4's mod scene has been way too underrated lately. So glad you decided to give it some love.
This is excellent. A home run of a video.
Man, I really thought this was the guy from Thoughty2 and Mr Anderson LP combined 🤣. First time watching, love the video so far. Gonna add him to my secret council of RUclipsrs I go to for anything on Fallout 🤫.
Those zombified ghouls are stupid. Feral Ghouls are Ghouls that devolved into animals. They are not supposed to be zombies. Ghouls are not dead.
Yeah a gas mask would do jack shit. Gas masks are for CBRN threats not radiation
Oh man oh man oh man, he's finally done it.
Burns dropped a FO4 vid on us!
I kinda wanna cry some happy tears haha
Radiation overhaul is another good mod basically make rads super effective like in fallout 3s vault 180 with 84 rads a sec highly recommend
I try this when i play all vanilla,i love this :3
yooo. i know this was posted a year ago but the production quality is nuts! i checked the sub count to expect over 1 million. insane!! keep it up.
Those cinematics in the beginning were absolutely stellar!
The editing, the graphics & execution of certain topics, breath taking.. I'm also really indulged in what sort of Load Order you've gone for.
Magnolia singing vintage dreams would be the perfect main menu replacer
Literally began modding fallout 4 last night.. this was right on time 😎
I hope it goes well.
Your guy’s videos are next level
4:49 we see a raider deep in his thoughts on "just how am i going to inhale this cigarette"
Keep making fallout 4 videos!! I love fallout 4!! I'm still playing it now!
When I heard Vintage Dream, all I thought of was "Good Morning, Wastelanders"
I live in west Pennsylvania and the gray environment retextures really makes the game feel like home
I don’t even play these games anymore but these videos are so good I can’t help myself 🤷♂️
Not sure which feral mod that adds them, but if you think those ferals displayed here are horrible to witness, wait till you see a swaddled child feral. You will now horror. You. Will.
Also, confused by Vintage Dreams. Not a mod?
I like it, creates a bit more STALKER-ish vibe, which I generally always missed in Bethesda Fallout games. Will def try some of these mods! Thanks buddy!
Cool ideas! Although, gas masks reminds me of the Metro series.
Bro your editing is nice hope you get the views you deserve
Transforming Samson of Bruma into a three-part series.
I never see many modding videos on fallout 4, which is a surprise since it's 8 years old.
Looking in the wrong places or following the wring channels. There are tons of modding videos on RUclips.
@@0grifman1 so.... where should I look lol
@@honinakecheta601 you can always use the search function in RUclips.
@@0grifman1 I know how to use the search function. You were the one who brought up how there are plenty of videos on fallout 4 mods so I asked you to share. I’ve seen some videos on fallout 4 mods, but not a lot. Maybe you’ve e seen some I haven’t.
@@honinakecheta601 for starters check out Degenerate Dak and Al Chestbreach channels on RUclips. They cover tons of Fallout 4 mods.
I'd like the nature mods more if the flora was slightly mutated, since radiation has a half-life if I recall, so it would soak into the soils and water sources for a good amount of time
the GOAT is back with another video
Had to laugh at the singer with the pipe gun inside her leg, RoboCop style 😁
My formula: a couple of zombie mods, a darker nights mod and a flashlight mod, that's about it 👍👍
The production value of this video is absolutely Insane. Glad to have found this channel
im in the middle of playing a skyrim playthrough with tons of the mods you've shown, was planning a fallout one and im so excited you made this vid! clutch!
this is the best edited fallout 4 video ive ever seen
Will you do a modding series of cyberpunk 2077 once the final patch hits?
Does anyone else wish that Bethesda offered occasional NPC/Companion dialog upgrades? For us loyal FO4 addicts, it would be a relief after multiple play-throughs.
Can we talk about how he never mentions the other mods he installed? Like the freaking gunner mechs!? Or is this some dlc I’ve never heard of??
Faction Reinforcements
How does that raider smoke with gas mask?
Beautiful visual combo of mods.
note to self, when playing these mod suggestions...
Use Power Armor Build XD
Ok, what do I need to add to my new gaming pc to help it run all of this stuff? Currently I’m on a mostly vanilla play through and when leaving an inside area and entering back into the outside world, it takes a long time to load. What should I do?
Me: starting to watch the video
Video: right away shows a guy smoking with a gas mask on
10/10 immersion, would install
Fo4 is 8 years old....fucking hell
More like a bit over 6 years. Came out late 2015 and it's now early 2023.
@@Bl4ckheart turned 7 in November so it’s like 7 and 1/3 🤓
@@thebigsucc030 Third times a charm :D You are right.
I’ve always preferred the realistic Chernobyl outlook when it comes to radiation. A lot of places there are just as reactive as your backyard.
I would to recommend add the Feral infestation, feral nights, FGEP, more feral ghouls, and Fallevil Complete Edition to My list.
Great job man, Fallout 4 is one of my favorites, absolutely loved it, you gave it a respectful and awesome touch with the narration and visual flair 👏 I can tell you are in fact a fan😁👍
what clothing/armor mod is that at 5:09? It be perfect for my raider character
I was just thinking about FO4 earlier today and then I see this
Nice
I say for some added flavor use Infiltrator - True Disguises and Modern Firearms mods
Definitely need more fo4 content
Would be nice if there's also a town/city/safehouse overhaul, i dont see the point on why after 200 years some roads and cities are still not fixed/refreshed by the people occupying it.
as well as settlement overhaul would be nice, like some of the ghouls wandering around and your settlers will defend every now and then (better A.I)
Anybody know what armor set(s) or mods that were used for the outfit at 5:19 and 8:05?
Did not expect a FO4 video. Nice!
sooo goooood!!! love the presentation of this!
Hey, anybody knows the armor that appears at 5:11? thank you
Vivid weathers is kind of nice, but it won't let you mess around the timescale.
