That inside cover should be steel. Someone could easily pry the outside off since the two (tiny) screws are only through that thin plastic cover, than they can just pull the lock in and enter your home
The plate on the inside of the door is made of metal. This plate is what the inner assembly will connect to, so you wont have to worry about the issue of somebody prying off your lock. Plus, at that point you would have a brick through the window.
Got it and will not stay connected (or now connect) to home wifi. Not sure if this would be a firmware update or something else. But it does not see my network anymore after initial set up.
Here is the problem with the Eufy smart locks that no one ever talks about. Most people have a front and back door, and some like myself have 3 doors while others may have more, so if we put a C220 on each door, you'd have multiple keys. They really should make it to where their locks can be rekeyed.
Why would you need all three keys though. It’s unlikely that they would all die at the same time and if they did, you only need to unlock one of the 3 doors to get in so would only need to carry one of the three keys.
@@yvond6444 you're missing the point. There are 3 keys, all different. You should be able to rekey the locks for a single key, allowing 1 key to lock/unlock multiple locks.
Battery life for colder climates is a huge issue. Have yet to find something that lasts longer than a few days in Canada. A comment for Weiser smartlock - don’t waste your time.
The batteries are on the inside of the home with this so I don't think you'd have that problem. We can see temps down to -10F in the winter where I live and it's still using the batteries it came with
The batteries died in two weeks. Another set died in 1 week. You can’t control how many lock/unlock events in an Airbnb property for guests. We ended up throwing this away for that reason.
Just stumbled on this! Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.
Glad to hear it!
i gotta stop looking up the product reviews after I already bought it.
Hahaha I been looking at it for months now. Lol
I saw some have wifi. So I'm trying to get that one instead.
Are these any good?
Thanks 👍this was very helpful. I really like this lock after 24 hours.
Fingerprint reader is problematic immediately.
can the keypad hold up to a lot of use from guests coming and going? as opposed to electronic locks with actual buttons
Great vid. Can you share the link for the rechargeable battery pack compatible for C220? Thanks
I think that's the battery back for the delivery box "Security smartdrop"

How loud is it?
Good Video. One thing to mention that is not advertised is that this is not rekeyable. I i like this lock. The finger Scan is a bit fussy at times.

Hi
Can you please tell me the actual size of the unit both exterior and interior ?
Thanks

You can remove the key cylinder and take it to a locksmith to reshape or maybe purchase 3 key cylinders and replace them

Good point on both sides
@@theSOUNDinterpreter we ended up getting 3 of the Aqara Smart Lock U100. We rekeyed them and have one key for all 3.

this is cool but I notice that the apps and basic functions are that of most of these door locks.
Is anyone that gets a free product out of the deal really going to give a unbiased review?
