Her leotard is absolutely GORGEOUS; love the pink and blue,she always has beautiful choices in costumes. Classy and elegant, reflecting her completely.
I agree about Zhenya's errors, but the end of her ribbon routine makes it all ok: the triple(I think?) pirouette where she continues it up to a full back scale(1.52-1.55) is truly astonishing and makes me gasp every time. Plus she wears the most beautiful leotards ever(lol)! She is just such a classy, classic gymnast.
Zhenya is always doing graceful and elegant routines while Anya's are more energetic. Like Zhenya's leotards are always pastel-colored and her ribbons and balls are always pale colors (I love them!) while Anya's are mostly black or red. Haha just observing, but I love them both to death and this exercise was flawless

Nunca hubo necesidad de que en muchas ocasiones le inflaran las notas, tenía todo para triunfar, para mí es la leyenda de la Gimnacia rítmica, pero hay que admitir que hubo ocaciones en donde no merecía medallas por qué fallaba y no la penalizaban como a otras (bessonova, Zhukova, garayeva ente otras). Este mundial sólo iban con objetivo masacrar a bessonova.
Es mi gimnasta favorita, y tenés razón. En el final de cinta, el oro era de Anna. Es lo que me molesta de los jueces: al inflarle las notas, perjudican su imagen deportiva. Aún con penalizaciones y descuentos por errores, le queda margen para obtener podiums, no entiendo por qué hacen eso. Es más, le dan una sensación de irrealidad a las gimnastas, y cuando van a los olímpicos, se topan con una pared, porque por lo general, allí son muy puntillosos con las notas, pues literal todos los ojos del mundo están allí.
Every video of Zhenya in Mie 2009, I could only hear loud shouting of "Bessonova", before and after Zhenya performed. I love Anna too... But I think her supporters are not respectful to Zhenya~ :-(
@Izzarii Anya does smile a lot she is always so nice to her fans Zhenya smiles too but not as much as Anya. I mean like, Anna's ALWAYS smiling, but Evgenia's SOMETIMES smiling, while at other times she just frowns. I love both though
i dun know much about RG judging but can someone tell me how she scored a 28.500 even with that big error..? Shes my favourtie gymnast but i feel that was overscored..
Hmm... I'm not thrilled with her ribbon in Mie... Bessonova's ribbon is magic, amazing artistry and of course underscored. This routine is absolutly overscored, and she has made mistakes at every execution

Gold in rope? Fair, because was an amazing routine, all most perfect. Gold in ribbon? Unfair, not difficult enough, with minor mistakes, and that tangled ribbon. Overscored. The other apparatus were fine, fine to get the all around gold. But she didn't deserved gold in ribbon.
I liked her in 2008 & 2009. I think she was perfect. These routines are great because they are 2 or 3 years old .. I am afraid that now she is not as perfect and clean anymore. And not even as happy as she used to while performing. Now it feels more fake. Her accents used to be so to the music, like here... I think since Kanaeva got a bit older, she is more beautiful and sexy bcse she is not like a kid anymore, but as a gymnasts she is worse than she used to, like in this routine

Uncomplete turns, correct, however she did have a major mistake... She shouldn't have gotten gold.
