This scene saved the movie. Sure, there are lots of tropes in Bandslam, but all in all, it has more originality than you'd expect from a film that has been seen by so few. And as you can see in the school project, it is really sweet. Hopefully with its TV airings, and cast's future success, more people will come to appreciate it for not being a carbon copy of every other film based around a band.
I recorded Bandslam on tv and when ever I'm bore I watch it so now I know it by heart. Also I agree that this movie was almost a carbon copie but it totally sky roketed with this scene
