Call Out Your Name is the third single from the forthcoming album of the Dutch band Afterpartees. “A name is a strange thing: you don’t get to pick this thing that shapes your life in lots of little invisible ways. Shoutout to our parents for keeping their cool and giving us decent, normal names.” Originating from the small village Horst aan de Maas, and driven by their love for energetic 70s punk and heartbreaking powerpop, this band wandered through their country with Iggy Pop, T-Rex and King Tuff blasting from the van’s crooked speakers. They’ve played renowned festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Pinkpop, Into The Great Wide Open, Lowlands and have received airplay on national radio and television.
