Some Explanations. - Not playing apolousa is probably a mistake, but it was a choice to go for a gryphon combo instead since it also allows for Lars which is protection against boardbreakers. - Superpoly was in theory a strong boardbreaker in this deck but in practise its not very good. its too hard to get a yubel onto the field without the opponent stopping you. Without mudragon or garura in the extra deck the superpoly is weak going 2nd, and even with those cards its not an amazing boardbreaker. - accesscode is to otk, which this deck struggles with. There was no room for anguish but it should be in there instead of the loving defender. it helps to otk by removing an opponents monster and linking into a 5300 atk accesscode. - I played 3 piri reiss map because I wanted as much consistency as possible. - not playing eternal favourite or chronicle because I thought they were too gimmicky, the deck already puts up an ftk board with just 1 card so there is no reason to add gimmicks to the deck. - nightmare pain causing opponents to hit themselves for lethal is very funny, as is genuinely the hardest part of yubel to play around. - Overall this deck is super strong right now, and I didn't play the strongest version for this climb as I was still learning.
What version would you consider the strongest version? I'm on the elf, actor and lars version with no super poly, also I do play apollousa but don't Make it near as much as sheep version, which I don't play either lol awesome combos! Especially the Beatrice into muck for lotus

Guess who watched it all in one sitting once again? Yeah. Didn’t expect you to go the route of a more control and floodgate style for Yubel with Knightmare Gryphon and adding some Rank 6 Synergy (mainly Lars, but Beatrice contributed too). I play the map too along a full super polymerization package going 2nd and for consistency. I was surprised with how well this deck did without Apollousa, but the moments where Apollousa would’ve saved you from the numerous counters like Tearlaments, Centur-ion, and opposing Yubel decks were definitely there. Still, good job!

never said it was hard for me. i do this every montrh. the point is to show off the new meta deck in a form that is different than just 2 or 3 replays. some beginners who dont find the ladder trivial would be interested too.
On masterduelmeta only 10% of decks are playing it, so I think you are fine without it. Also few representations in OCG/TCG. If i know this correctly if you are playing without super producer you go lighter on the unchained package, maybe I'm wrong

You rely on floodgates way too often. This is why you never win tournaments. Too focused on stopping others from playing than learning to play the game yourself.

One of the tiny but cool point in this endboard is Gryphon can suppress Yubel's end phase penalty. It feels like 'combo'.

the combo makes use of gryphon preventing yubel from activating, you have to get the zones right tho

I hate this deck. No matter how many times i get rid of the monsters they keep coming back
Don’t focus on removing Yubel instead focus on destroying their spells then you can push through their monsters easier
only out ash imperm veiler the lotus or chaos beast and try your best in your tuen ro end the game dimension shifter and droll also work

this version uses abyss actor, but u can play combos that dont need it.
