Nous avons été invités par le Pôle Évasion de la ville d’Ambarès-et-Lagrave en Gironde pour filmer un live diffusé à l’occasion de la fête de la musique 2020 ! Une superbe initiative à l’issue du confinement. A défaut de ne pas pouvoir remonter sur scène face à vous, jouer ce petit set aura été un très bon moment pour nous tous. Aussi, nous tenons à remercier sincèrement la ville d’Ambarès-et-Lagrave et le Pôle Évasion d’avoir pensé à nous pour animer la fête de la musique et pour nous avoir offert l’opportunité de nous filmer. Nous remercions d’ailleurs tout le personnel technique mobilisé pour l’occasion. Si vous n’aviez jamais pu nous voir sur scène, ou que vous attendiez impatiemment de nous voir jouer, vous en avez maintenant l’occasion ! :) Un très bon visionnage à tous !

A few months ago, we were invited by the Pôle Évasion from the city of Ambarès-et-Lagrave in France, to record a live set on the occasion of the world music day (an event that occurs every June 21th in France). A great initiative, right after the lockdown. Even if we can’t wait to get back on stage for you, playing that little set was a great moment for all of us. We really want to thank the city of Ambarès-et-Lagrave and the Pôle Évasion for offering us the chance to play and to record the live show. Also, we’d like to thank all the technicians involved. @@Altesia Oh cool de me répondre ! Depuis, j'ai écouté Paragon Circus plusieurs fois, et j'adore ! Vous voilà avec votre "Aquarius", donc... (Autant dire qu'avec un tel premier album, il ne vous manque pas grand chose que pour être durablement remarqué de toute la scène prog).
Et j'allais poser la question sur un éventuel prochain album, avant de me répondre compte que vous aviez un Facebook qui annonce Embryo pour le 16 octobre... Excité évidemment, mais quand je lis:
_"Embryo" is a spiritual record that shines a light on the bright side of man, an ode to self-discovery and an invitation to introspection_
Je me dis "tiens, est-ce que ça veut dire qu'on va passer du côté joyeux/majeur de la musique?" (Et j'ai des flashbacks de Mikael Akerfeldt qui "react" à une reprise de The Grand Conjuration en majeur).
@@cabritsanscorgaming Haha merci à toi pour ton retour ! :) Aquarius est l'album qui m'a fait adorer Haken et reste à ce jour l'un des tout meilleurs albums de métal progressif de tous les temps pour moi. Comparer Paragon Circus à Aquarius est donc un immense compliment pour moi ! :) Merci beaucoup !
En effet, notre nouvel album sortira en octobre 2016. Effectivement, le message contenu dans les paroles sera assez différent du premier album, mais cela n'aura pas d'impact sur notre musique. D'ailleurs, le premier single que nous sortons dans quelques jours te le confirmera ;) Merci l'ami !

I think I've seen every one of your your videos and followed every song on Spotify...I just want to buy a vinyl of both Embryo and Paragon Circus. Seriously - Keep it up. I want the vinyls not just because I love you guys but because I know you're going to be a part of progressive rock history. You're so so good.
