    I'm really liking reverse joint rn, the mobility helps evading attacks a lot. I mostly ran Coral generators so the ability to jump a far distance can serve as an evasive maneuver while redlining and you have the option to do lightweight builds or almost on the heavy side for the beefier weapons. Tracks and Quads just feel too much like playing a Tank instead of a mech and when I try going back to bipedal I miss the verticality of the long jump so much

    I only played reverse legs so watching the quads float and place explosions effectively for their AoE was great. Very cool play style.

    I really like how you use Assault Boost a lot! (Especially at 2:35) I only use it as a means of travelling long distances, instead of using it more as a gap-closer and evasiveness. I think I really struggle with evading enemy attacks in both PvP and PvE. Maybe it's a good idea for a video lol. I also wanna see you in PvP using Reverse-Joints, because I wanna know how a good player uses it hehe. It's my favourite legs right now. I'm also warming up to Bipedals after watching your videos haha! Looking forward to Part 2!

      Assault boost gives you extra acs damage and damage resist while you use it! Kicks are key to victory in most battles with bosses or players(and it feels raw af too)

    I never could understand the proper way to use quad legs until seeing this demo! I kept getting destroyed in the AC duels in the story whenever I tried them.

    I'm a vet I know my stuff but I like these vids you make because it gives me more perspective and I find a lot of interesting things I may have overlooked.
    The tank tracks have never really appealed to me but I may have to give it a try, they certainly aren't slow anymore and with the new maneuvering mechanics it even looks kind of fun. Even the heavy tank legs aren't that slow, as you demonstrated. I'll have to mess around with it. Quads used to be FAST on the ground, but I guess quads are like aerial tanks now.
    I can't bring myself to use the wheelchair though it just looks ridiculous lol. I don't care how stupidly good it is.

      @jeast9648 10 месяцев назад +1

      The wheelchair will probably get nerfed. There is no reason for a tank to be faster than the lightest possible reverse joint legs. And by a pretty large margin even.

      @@joeytatum6052 The downside is they have poor aerial control. If a tank is running close range bruiser guns, to bull dog you, you can take to the air and keep the distance that way and there is no way for them to close the distance reasonably, even with Assault Boost. All the more so if there is a building to use as cover. People seem to hate the kiting play style which is why things like Zimmermans and Tanks seem OP, but it really is that simple. They cannot close the distance unless you let them. If you are both running close range weapons, then the goal should be to out trade them by dodging SOME of their fire and landing 100% of yours. A "turn and burn" type of strategy works here. Even if there is hard lock to keep you in their sights, they are limited by their FCS and arms. It takes finesse, but if fighting a tank didn't take finesse and you could just easily out DPS them, they'd be useless. The moment you get that type of advantage on them, they already lost after all.

      @@GriFFonRec4 Rock paper scissors. I did try a tank like when the game first launched but the movement felt too alien and I just stuck with bi-pedals/reverse joints. My goal now is to have one of everything.
      Besides. With the added movement mechanics they do look kind of fun.

      @@GriFFonRec4I think they probably can make countering tanks a bit easier by 1. Increasing speed differential for lower load and 2. Give rifles and machine guns a dose of extra range to give more kiting options

    My favorite quad legs, it's a really flexible legs can be really intimidating on close range and also annoying in long range.

  • @jeast9648
    @jeast9648 10 месяцев назад +1

    You forgot about farther kick range and more kick damage with reverse joint.

  • @cloakgun4368
    @cloakgun4368 10 месяцев назад +1

    A small note, if one would choose reverse-joints, picking a booster with High QB Jet Duration would make the each ground QB closer to the ground compared to low QB Jet Duration (less vertical QB dash). The bipedal and quad more float more than them.

  • @requiem9167
    @requiem9167 10 месяцев назад +1

    Definitely seems i need to float more with quads lol. I was trying to do a lot of vertical movement but looks more horizontal

    When you using 4leg, don't use quick boost on float mode.
    It will make you stop after use quick boost.
