my advice related to this is stock up on generic staples, and have them seperate from your deck cores. i only put staples in my binder and i keep my cores in deckboxes. so much easier to swap decks in a moments notice.

Best way to do it! I also separate monster, spell, traps in the binder to make it easier to find a given card

Congrats on 20k!🎉I stopped playing modern YGO several months ago but my locals has been hosting Edison format and I’ve been having a blast, it’s great to be back in the game

    Very informative GG!
I like that you mentioned "out-siding" your opponent. I always sided in Cosmics when I played Fluu a while ago when I anticipated Anti-Spell. They would see I had the Cyclone and scoop 😂
The worst is rarely seeing your side, as if the cards aren't in the mood to help 😂😂

6 cards for 6 is solid, then there is me siding 12 cards and still doesn't see side board. Solid advice good to know for future reference.

Another aspect is that your engine can vary depending on whether you go first or second. This is often the case with Rikka Sunavalon lists that play around 45 cards. Going first, you often play 3 Rikka Petal, of which you side out one to have a higher chance of being able to break your opponent's board. Since you draw a sixth card, your chance of bricking is still about as low as before.

I’ve been really enjoying how in-depth and rational your videos have been. Have you considered making any Edison format content? I would think a player of your caliber would have much to offer this growing community and wonderful format!

I agree that it's very important to know what kind of decks your local scene likes to play. During near the end of Kashtira format -- even right before Nats, our local scene just straight up didn't like playing the deck. So picking Drytron, Tear, etc. and cutting the anti-Kash tech like BOM/Eclipse for local tourneys was actually a legitimate strategy in my area. If time after time...every time you go to locals you don't see Kash and you KNOW the regulars aren't on the deck...that's free information that you should use -- conventional theory be damned.
