I grew up in Jenny Lind and I never knew the history of this home. We have so much history in Calaveras. It would be great if the schools would teach the local history to the children.

I was born and raised in Valley Springs and One of my best friends growing up lived in this beautiful home in the 90s and I always remember our fun memories there during family gatherings and birthday parties we would hang out in the front porch pretend it’s a wedding chapel and then we would go up stairs watch movies and get scared cause my friend would say the house was haunted, but we had a lot of cool memories in the Late House I wish I could go back inside or buy this home I would totally live there the county should buy the home and make it into a museum the late family has a very special story!
