“it’s not all about sinking some steel into fish!”, “let’s get out there and kill something”. You crack me up 🤣. Your young wisdom on life being short, well it is. Buy the boat and gear you can’t afford now because you’ll never be able to afford it til you make that commitment. The coastline is spectacular and you really nailed it this trip with the weather. Mate buy yourself a decent knife for the boat, using that $5 dive knife on that $30 fish was abuse, hard to watch for an old chef. Also get a couple of 18V power tools to keep in your dry well. Loving your productions Ollie, thank you.

Great channel I just found in my recommendations today. I subscribed in the first few minutes of watching this terrific content.
You’re absolutely right about life being so short and to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.
I was lucky enough to spend most of my life on the water in Hawaii. Surfing, sailing, fishing, and diving around the islands. Camping on the boat off the north shore of Molokai, looking at the tallest sea-cliffs in the world and humpback whales breaching, was always great fun. I remember those days like it was yesterday but I’ll be 60 years old this year and not in Hawaii anymore.
Time does move quicker every year and I’m glad I got to spend my prime in the great outdoors and constant adventures.
Keep up the great channel and excellent underwater video. New Zealand looks amazing!
Peace and aloha from Washington state. 🤙🏼

Ive eaten sashimi and poke my whole life being born and raised in hawaii. That being said, i cant stress enough how important it is to put a fish on brine until the core temp reaches atleast 35 degrees Fahrenheit. This kills any microparasites that may be in the fish. A little more of a pelagic fish practice, but just a little food for thought..awesome videos
