This video was brilliantly put together. My mild curiousity to know what an extrusion was began to increase as the video played gaining momentum of capturing totally my interest. This video presented an undemanding compendium of raw aluminium through a process which developes the magnificently designed finished creation. Thank you for the recount. Olso sure has a pretty night skyline.
I recently started learning to design those dies for complex profiles in a small german company. This video helped me alot to understand the extrusion process.
I came here to gain a better understanding of the post extrusion straightening process and its general tolerance range.... lol... I work in marketing and just find the aluminum extrusion workflow fascinating.
Hi Ronak. We have made a separate video explaining the process of producing extruded aluminium profiles. Have a look here: ruclips.net/video/Olytr4PEDPs/видео.html
Hey can I please use like 6 or 8 seconds of this video (with credit to Norsk Hydro) in a small video project I am working on, to explain visually the process of extrusion? From 8:03 to 8:10

This place looks more advanced than the place I work at now. I've always done head stretching (to straighten the parts from the press), but dude said he could get me trained on operating one of the presses (the operator on my shift went to another shift), so I'm super nervous/scared/excited at the same time. xD LMAO
I am working at a company that product different kinds of spercification heat resistance fiber .like kevlar and pbo rollers pads and felt cover of nomex ....lookingforward your cooperation
in cressona pa where most of this video was filmed it would be the united steel workers 🤮🤢🤮 I worked there in packing for 3 years. I'm just watching this for boredom cures
"Sapa aluminum is the strong, lightweight, renewable material behind many of today's most innovative product designs"... Aluminum itself isn't renewable, so how does Sapa achieve renewable aluminum?
Aluminum video with my coffee break coffee? ☕️
Perfection.

Very good, clear explanation of the processes.
Well done!👍☘️
Excelente video, I think are very interesting proceses
A good lesson. That reminds me of Galuminium's high-quality aluminium extrusion.
How do you extrude something with a hole in it? [like a pipe]

@@NorskHydroASA This is the same video and does not answer the question.

6:11 Does anyone know what that shape is for? we make that kind too. lol
I think it's the final part of a ramp
Thanks
8:25 OMG
..
that's what she said !
Fahrenheit???
The U.S plants use Fahrenheit
Aluminium does not change colour because it is not possible to heat to high temperatures. Water does not glow eather at its melting temperature...
simplesmente genial
Casted?
Extrusion process line really big
Right
The past tense of the verb to cast is cast, casted is not a word.
Thank you, the grammar police.
Aloominium?
Aluminium, aluminum, aloominium... Whatever floats your boat :)
I want to one day build a company just like Sapa.
What union are you guys represented by in the u.s?

Infinite reformability. That is what they mean by renewable.
Aluminum is not a renewable resource. It is mined from the Earth like other metals, What is your questions,I don't understand what you want to ask
Im amazed
10:49 IT IS PLACED IN IRAQ!
Derka derka! Muhammed jihad!
