- I don't recall the I-250 being good. I mean, it wasn't bad per se, but it wasn't good.
Or maybe it was just me? I bought back the I-250 and had two good games right out of the gate!

I loved the I-250, with the speed and the boost and that FIREPOWER. Just the drumbeat of those big guns made me fall in love.
I like altitude and speed, so I-250 has always been one of my favorites. You can quickly go from knocking down the heavies up high, to zooming through the trees to pop a turny, and back up to the skies lickety-split.
Never sell the I-250. It is far from trash. Just think, it's even faster than the Mustang, and it has as much boom as a Spitfire XIV. I saw you hit over 500 mph in that thing. It can climb very well. Keep it. The cool thing about it is it is very small and can slip shots. I also love the look of it. It is a very handsome aircraft. I'm grinding my way to it, but I knew it was a good aircraft just from my look at it in the tech tree.
I go this plane just to get to the Mig15 this weekend. I hated the first few flights so much I burned free XP to get to the Mig 9 which I'm loving so far. The base guns I think are part of the pain when getting the stock plane. I'm a plane hoarder but I was close too selling this plane. I'll probably let it sit in my hangar now and go back to it later.
Top engines and top guns make a HUGE difference
You spend a huge amount of time in the gunscope. I went as far as to unbind it from my joystick because it kills my situational awareness too much. I can't even remember which hat I put it on now, which was somewhere far enough from my fingers I wouldn't bump it by accident anymore.

Great games, I went ahead and repurchased the I250. Didn't like it the first time but that is probably because the Mig-9 is so good in comparison.
I tried it for a bit.. it's not terrible. Then I just free XP-d to Mig-9, which is good. Reason being with Mig-9 I can grind Mig-15 during the weekend and with I-250, I'd be still grinding Mig-9.
Better than the previous 2, but i was still happy to unload this one!
