- Could this be one of the hidden gems of the dio world?
I have been selling and using this TWH 48MM on builds and I am totally impressed with its performance! The say its a mini crank set up , but i have used them in stock crank motors with great success as well!
Can’t beat the price point on them, and performance will defiantly be a shocker, it has been for me.
This swap is on my personal bike, I purposely left it up ported and used the original gaskets that was supplied with the kit. Totally bolt on with no modification. There are some ares that needs some attention but it’s pretty simply. As soon as i break this in ill be making a follow up video with some performance details.
As always, please like, comment, share and subscribe for tons more scooter related content. There are lots of videos on the way so be sure to check back!
Thanks and Aloha!

I've got good experience with an aluminium Airsal 70cc and 21mm pwk on an af18. Good performance durable and nicely priced.
Very true!! I have built that cylinder with a 43.2 mini crank and it worked well!!
@@n4smotorwerx Yes, very good value for money, running it a bit rich will make it last long. Had this setup on a Kymco DJ with a standard crankshaft an a Leovinci TT exhaust
@delahayenator there’s a lot of cheaper cylinders out there that week really well!

I couldnt find much in Holland where i'm from, if I remember correct i paid around 80 euro for it last year. There were some cheaper unbranded iron 70cc cylinders but only 10 euro difference in price . Next up was a Polini or Malossi but they start at around 130 euro for iron cylinders
Its the white Kymco DJ on my channel
What is the cylinder stud spacing on these engines? Also what is the piston stroke length?
I can get you the measurements, message me on my FB or IG !
Love this.
Hope this helps others when installing any bore kit !!
@@n4smotorwerx some great tips to learn from this video. I especially love you showing the test fitting of everything first. Smart.

After break-in and exaust n transfer work wondering hows that pipe?.... comparison to ur n4s race pipe the 72 scorpian style one?.... i dont see u using or anyone of ur costumer builds u do using that pipe jus was wondering why?
So far this pipe has been pretty nice , bike had gotten up to 69. But I having some weird issue. I think if I can hold it longer it will go faster :)
I got this pipe as a tester. I always been curious about chamber pipes on A Dio. One day when all this covid bs clears up I’ll be able to get more of my pipes back in.
@@n4smotorwerx Thanks for the reply 🤙always wanted to try ur n4s race pipe the scorpian style one hopefully ull get them back in one day
I been getting a lot of messages about my pipe, as well as this one on my bike.
I think I have to get a few and share my pipes again with the moped community!

Aloha !! Dio for the win!
Dear can u tell me i rebuild dio af27 ... when i put 48mm i need do porting? And what size of carb i need ? Thank you
48mm doesn’t require any extra machine shop work to cut the cases. Porting does help with its flow and creating more power ! You can use a stock carb all the way up to a 28pwk!
Me Honda Dio af18 need this and crankshaft but not mechanic for this around?
Contact me on my FB or Ig , maybe I can help you!

Yes cheaper bores for some of my customers! Many don’t want to spend a lot , but this can be made very fast mph:)
有牌子的汽缸活塞也不修好,汽缸邊也不修好,成熟的產品還不注意
Cheaper cylinder for customers, not all want to buy high end :)
