If Pereira loses to Ank he'll get an immediate rematch & likely lose that as well. I could definitely see him going 0-2 next year. If he loses to Ank he'd probably be better off going up to HW & fighting a Ganet/Pavlovich type & earn a shot to become 3-Division champ
Think they're gonna use Paddy on a FN? I doubt they use him on anything but PPV, he's 1 of the 5 or 6 biggest stars. Leon, Allen, Murphy, Blachowicz are enough to sell out London FN.
Jon Jones closest fights were Dominick Reyes and Gustaffson. The only people he fought that were younger than him and near his size. Jones fights Tom and loses, he’s still the MMA Goat that fought the dangerous contender. If anything he’s more of a GOAT for taking the risk and proving Champ title. Jones fights Tom and wins, he’s the MMA Goat who beat Tom who likely goes on to run the division for years and the win ages well for Jones anyway. It’s not about Jones being or not being the GOAT. its about properly passing the torch as the champ as its always been. You can’t be the GOAT with the big WHAT IF on your record because people say you ducked a contender and didn’t help start a new legacy.
