My diffuser got knocked off as well from my baby. I noticed the lights blink 3 times. Then I took the disc out to clean. The lights go on inside. But no power lights on the front. When I plugged in after cleaning the disk it spurt 1 time from the middle then nothing. Do you think it’s the disk or the fan? Or should I open to retighten? *im very thankful for your videos
Update!!! So I took apart just like you have shown and cleaned everything. Power lights on! And diffusing❤️ you saved me from buying a brand new one 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
My doterra is making a weird sound when I turn it on and it takes about 2-4 times of turning it on and off until the sounds stops. Would that possibly be the fan? Its diffusing properly it's just a weird sound instead of being silent.

@@DiffuserDoc I have one more question, I did watch your video of replacing it so I have removed my one cleaned it and replaced it didn't make a difference. So replacing it will make it work again and the lights to stop flashing on and off quicky then shutting down? it would't be anything internal? Also i'm in New Zealand do you ship to NZ? thanks
Hello, did you find some help for this? Mine is new, I've been using it for 10 days just and I'm worried about it. It almost instantly shuts down sometimes and the fan makes a weird noise.
@@andrejtobola Quite sure mine had xh2.54, if I remember correctly. And I used a special silent Van with 4500rpm from Noctua - no improvement noticeable for my ears

Hi Alex, yes, that's the fan making the noise.
This repair will fix that.
My petal diffuser works great for about a minute then shuts off, then works for less and less time each time I turn it on. Any ideas?

You need a 40x40x10 (Millimeter) 12Volt DC Brushless Fan with 2 Pin Connector. - mine had 0.06 A or about 0.8 Watts - but that is not as important
Which connector type? PH2.0 or XH2.54?
How many RPM?
