- In this video, I re-test the radio frequency and microcurrent duo that helped me achieve tighter, more youthful skin when I first started my skincare journey several ago: the NEWA RF and Myolift QT+. While they produced great results back then, I wanted to know if they still have what it takes to continue maintaining, or even improve further, my aging skin (now at age 52!). So I gave devices a dedicated four-week trial, took before and after pictures, and I’m sharing with you the results. For each day, I used the NEWA on my cheeks and jowls for 4 minutes each side to heat my dermis and stimulate collagen production. Then I used the Myolift QT+ all over my face and neck for 15 minutes to strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. It was just one month, but based on the pictures, I was thrilled to see that not only had my skin maintained its tightness, but some areas like my nasal labial folds and lower face actually appeared more lifted. Also, while my mid-cheek lines stayed the same, overall my skin looked tighter and more youthful. But what do you think? Don't be shy and drop me a comment or question below 😊. I am finding that there are many devices that seem to help with different concerns, which can be a bit confusing for the novice. I can't believe you are gifting a lucky viewer with one of these! Congrats, your results are excellent! I found the NEWA to be a pain in the rear to use, so I ended up throwing it out. It was very time consuming, messy, and the device itself was very finicky -- has to be perfectly positioning or it will constantly switching on and off. I'd be interested in more detail about the RF and ultrasound device you introduced a little while ago -- seems like that one doesn't take as much time, and is very cost-effective, but does it deliver results?

Hello! From there website: "NEWA should be used only by Fitzpatrick skin types I - IV" Darker skins and people prone to hyperpigmentation shouldn't use it. I have hyperpigmentation on my forehead and do not use RF on it. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching and have a beautiful week!

I know I need at least an RF and microcurrent device, that’s why I wanted to buy the Lumo, and still I feel tempted to do so, but also I’ve been checking the Medicube devices and I’ll have to say that It makes me condused in which to get If I decide to get them. For sagging skin under the eye, you want radio frequency (RF), not Microcurrent. Amiro RF Eye is a great one or the Nebulyft, which you can use under the eye. I hope that helps!

Thanks for sharing Jodylynn. Do you have the plug in or wireless NEWA? i have been using the wireless one (I think it's their plus) for two weeks. I'm having trouble getting it to turn green for the treatment mode. It only turns green for 50% of the time each side (on and off depending on the heat level of my skin I guess). Newa has been great about trouble shooting with my ; but all suggestions haven't improved things. so I though I'd reach out for any tiips you may have. NEWA kindly offered to send the corded version due to the difficulties. I'm excited to see if this makes a difference. :) As always I appreciate your in depth trials and experience. 💜Cindy
Hi Cindy, I have the plug in version (Classic). I've never had any problems. Are you putting on quite a bit of gel? Are you using larger circular motions or smaller circular motions? You are using it in the zones, correct? I only ask because if it is green and then you move the device to an area that hasn't been heated up, the green will go away because that area of the skin isn't heated up. My device heats up rather quickly and gets to green in about 20 seconds and then it stays green the entire time. Let me know my friend.

When you get your device, try doing one particular area (not zone) in small circular motions and see if that works. Because if it does, then your zone may be too large and you may need to break it up. ❤
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Looks Like I may need to do 3-4 zones . How often do you need to keep it up after your initial treatment to see results. I think I remember you saying that if you dont do maintenance then your see a decline in the firmness of your skin?
Yes that is correct. You will need to keep at it always. So, originally this is what I did about 4 years ago with NEWA. I used the NEWA + Microcurrent 5x a week the first two months, then the other 4 months, I did it about 4-5x a week. (mostly 5x a week though). After that, I loved my results (so it took me 6 months to really like my results). I then went down to about 3-4 x a week. I'd say no more than 5x a week but no less than 3x a week after a couple of months with the NEWA. (other RF devices are different protocols). My opinion. I hope that helps.
Great info! I was told not to use both therapies the same day. So RF one day, the next microcurrent, then RF…. Can we use them together ??? One after the other?? I have Foreo bear 2 and Ziip and Tripollar New drop Vx 2 and envig. ❤
Yes you can! I've been doing it for almost 4 years. I suggest RF first to really warm up the skin before doing the muscle toning. You have great devices!!!

Mira Aguirre is a good friend and she made them give me a replacement the first time but I hate to ask her again. I may just post it in their FB page. I do have radiesse in my cheeks so I haven't used it over top anyway. I also use micro current I use and red light but life's nuts for me and I do the best I can with devices.
