If you punish your kids by grounding them or making them do chores, they're going to mad at you and try to cross you even more. This way, they actually LEARN something and aren't really forced to do anything.
As a kid who doesn’t get paid for chores I kinda prefer it that way. It teaches me that money doesnt grow on trees and that helping someone should never only be for money….
After watching this I realized how bad I really felt for not doing basic chores to help my mom. Thanks Dhar Mann. Now I do them everyday and it's not that big of a deal because for all the things my mom has done for me, it's worth it.

My mom is working a 14 hour job getting paid 6 dollars an hour to keep a roof on our head. I work a part time job to help her with money. Not only that, I'm the one the cooks and cleans the house so when she gets home the house smells fresh and some warm food on the stove. I never got my quince and haven't gotten a birthday party or cake since I was 4. I used to get jealous that my friends at school got present for christmas and got to go to the fair. We don't even own a car. I am now 16 and working to buy myself a used car at least. I am now studying financial education and business cause I want to make my mom proud. So one day she could sleep in and can spend quality time with me and my sister. And for me to pay her medical bill. I Love her and try to support her every day ❤
The fact that she stepped on a lego, “A LEGO” is as lame as the video. Kids don’t leave just one lego laying around and this kid is too old to be playing with legos.
You don't need it chores is stuff you should be doing any way I know why parents do it to teach your kids to prepare for the world of work but it also makes them expectant so next time your mum gives you money say no its ok
Payment for doing chores growing up during my time was a roof over my head, food in my belly, and clothes on my body with some money every now and then. There is only one woman in my house. She is my mom . She taught me to do all the household chores since I was 7 years old . I am so grateful to be taught by her because knowing to do household chores helps me become a strong and independent person. It keeps me fit as well .

Payment for doing chores growing up during my time was a roof over my head, food in my belly, and clothes on my body with some money every now and then. The only option was to go live in the country in MS on a family farm. Let’s see...a few easy chores or a hell of a lot of hard working chores. Needless to say, I grew up in the city.

I am Asian. I am a boy but I do almost the household chores in my house such as do the dishes,do the laundry,hang out the clothes,sweep the floor,mop the floor, clean the bathroom,take out the trashes, do the shopping and even do the cooking. I love those jobs. They're fun and memorable.
