You can make self despawning lootrooms if you put your loot in a vending machine and put the c4 set to be triggered by a heartbeat sensor on the foundation its standindg on.
the c4 drone is an idea as old as black ops 1! Gotta love this ingenuity.
To bad it's patched now
It will make the C4 more versatile, so rockets aren't always the default.
It is a great way to deal with door campers if you have an overabundance of explosives and want style :P

@@MisterFlak yep. they only ever used c4 if they got it from lucky loot from heli or oil.. this changes the game completely.
The C4 as a heli thief deterrent IS BAWS man!! One change thoug, I would not rely on the ingame handheld remote incase I get killed. I think a small comms HQ base with a RF transmitter enabled to work with the RUST+ app is the way to go here. so no matter if you dead or alive you can set off these "deterrent" c4s. damn this is huge. Also it gives other uses for c4 than just raiding which is also a massive thing since there was LITERALLY no other use for c4 ever. UNTIL NOW BIATCH!
Oh definitely a comma base to dial into your cameras, control turrets and push out Hz 😍

Well if you don't like offline raiding someone you can always set up when they are offline and then when they get back just blow the heck out of their base

@@MisterFlak oh you know what else you could do? Build some empty bases for ppl to take over but already have the foundations ready to blow. It's like living under the base but this wouldn't be obvious.

@@gregfrank9087 You see no issue with your idea? If you build a 2x2 for someone to take over you need 8C4 to foundation wipe it. 1C4 costs 2500sulfur and lets not forget LGF, cloth and tech trash which is not a good price to kill a "baseless" player in rust to get some prim tools or whatever. Now if you are thinking about saying let them farm and get stuff then blow it up you forgot most important thing about rust. Base upgrade. As soon as you get some kills you upgrade your base to metal and add honeycomb on it. You see where this is going? Your idea *POOF* gone. Also lets not forget about daily server restarts that would remove your C4 anyway.
Imagine flying over a base and dropping some onto the roof, starting the raid and then when the defenders go to the roof....BOOOM!!!

And this gave new beginning to a toy called kamikaze drones to piss off roof campers

One Drone costs 200 frags, 2 tech trash and 1 cctv camera. In my book that is expensive and I would not craft and fly my drones left and right.

@@kurchaka C4 does not do splash damage to structures (only players, deployables and NPCs) so no, even if you had 400 man zerg they would not be able to raid like that because it is not possible. You could try to chase a player down and blow him up if he is not paying attention or he cant hit your drone with 2 bullets.
@@blackking3270 place multiple c4 on the drone with different frequencies, when one is detonated drone will blow up and remaining c4 will fall onto the floor. There’s no need for splash if you use separate frequencies with multiple c4 as it will be in direct contact with the structure.

place a couple on the boat on cargo, incase someone counters and kills you. respawn at base, fly out to watch when they leave the ship. and win back all the loot lol
automated oil rig trap, automated excavator trap, you could lock off your tc during a raid place c4 on it and move your tc later on, chuck one on the tunnels elevator going into outpost on a clan server and wait, fly a drone with c4 way above bradley, drop the drone onto unsuspecting looters, place a c4 on the cargo escape boat, place out of reach c4 for cave base defense, camera next to desert military base c4 under the truck, fly a c4 through the window of a raid base into all the beds, fly a c4 onto a clan base roof blow up a scrappy. Soooooooooo many ideas.

Find c4. Go to oil. put c4 under boat. when they done and leave from oil blow their boat up u get all loot from no effort. However gtting a c4 might be hard. But the gp and stuff from it is probably worth rig loot. And often you can get a c4 from rig so

Odd how you didn't test double c4 on drone. I hope it can work, you could basically use drone for raiding a neighbour
I don't think the c4 on the drone does damage to walls, c4 doesn't splash buildings
C4 drones would be very useful for demolishing wind turbines and SAM sites.

I've been wanting this for ages! As C4 is pretty expensive to craft hopefully they can make it work with satchels/grenades/survey charges as it wont be viable for trap bases otherwise. Could also use it to unseal bunkers or break twig floors.
You can already do that using a water pistol to disable the satchel/beancan and then igniting it using a igniter thats hooked up to a rf antenna

The TC removal C4 is going to be insanely clutch if you can get it to work properly.
However - my one issue with the system as it stands currently you can input incorrect signals without any punishment; and since a 4 digit code with 0-9 as options leaves roughly 10k possible combinations - which isn't a lot of combinations to try, a bot on a more popular server could be scrolling through these combinations day in, day out and would be exploding these unsecure codes whilst you're asleep.
That is however, assuming that the 4 digit is a hard coded requirement - if the number could go lower or / as well as higher then the number of combinations increased exponentially. Still an issue; but much less pronounced.
So coooooool I can't wait!! If I drive up to another base with c4 already on the front of my car, will it do damage to a wall??
It does indeed. But remember it need to to be very close to wall or it does minor damage

You didn't even cover what would probably be the most common use, less attention while raiding/ When raiding, apply lots of c4 to base foundations and exploding all at once so there isn't incremental booms going off attracting attention, just 1 big boom and a base is gone
People will throw one on the RHIB on Cargo and wait for people to take it.

no c4 only does splash damage to players. it has to be on a structure to cause damage
This would be handy to do on cargo than dip and watch from your boat a clan leaving cargo and you remotely destroy their helicopter gaining you 3 locked crates and kits

people are focusing wayyyyy too much on the drone, and not on the remote c4 itself. the drone is cool or whatever, but the remote control c4 is what will actually be game changing.
