A “mire” is a patch of boggy/swamp land. It can also be used metaphorically to refer to an unpleasant experience that’s difficult to escape from. For instance “the breakup left him in a mire of negative emotions”

Little explanation on the ending, the ending part where you're in a cage is part of Power Drill Massacre, which is another Puppet Combo game.
The start of PDM is your character waking up in that same cage after being kidnapped.
There's also a nod to PDM in Night Shift, where you can play a simplified, top down version of the game on the arcade machine in the corner.
What does ''PDM'' stands for?

the ambiance of this game was so good that it made watching someone play an entirely text based rpg scary. That and the combination of how very into it Gab got. 😆 I'm pretty sure i could watch her play Zork for a whole video and still be so entertained.

I fell asleep during this and I woke up to this I pitched ringing. I thought that my phone got an alert from my state or something and freak out. I realized quickly what it was the video and I am in no danger. Love your videos!
Seeing the tower immediately reminded me of The Goat Man game, where you guide a dude outta the forest.
And then, as someone that's not a fan of Puppet Combo, i started to think how some people kept calling the Convenience Store game a rip off of the Puppet Combo one. And that hurts my soul a bit.

This is a sort of spinoff to another one of their games called Power drill massacre, which is honestly one of their creepiest games in my opinion.

Fun vid! The character model reminded me a LOT of the original Alone in the Dark. That's a creepy old game you should check out. The alone in the dark trilogy is on GOG for a few dollars, but not sure it holds up well.
