- The BMW M3 is the performance-oriented version of the German brand's popular 3 Series compact sedan, combining daily utility with the spirit of a racehorse. The latest styling might not suit every enthusiast's tastes, but it's still one of the most thrilling sport sedans on the road today!
The M3 has a surprising amount of head- and front-row legroom compared to other compact sport sedans. The cabin is decked in premium materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber and Merino leather. All models come with bolstered sport seats and eye-catching details such as an anthracite-colored headliner, red M buttons, and a thick leather steering wheel. Optional M carbon-fiber front bucket seats ($3,800) cut 21 pounds from the car's total weight, and feature multipoint seatbelts. Buyers can also upgrade to ventilated front seats for an additional $350.
The BMW M3 boasts an attractive 10.25-inch infotainment screen that can be controlled via touchscreen, knobs, buttons, a console-mounted dial, voice command, or optional gesture control. The brand's latest software, BMW iDrive 7, includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and navigation with real-time traffic data. The M3 features a Harman Kardon surround-sound stereo and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster displaying key information.

Okay people hate on the grills. Look at it this way. This car has a 3 litre engine in the year 2022, it comes in AWD now and the interior is a huge step up compared to last gen! I’ve test drove this car in the uk so it was only automatic and I can say it’s one of the best cars I’ve driven. I have test drove many cars such as e63, c63, f80 m4, and rs6. In terms of driving this thing buts them all to shame. Bmw has balls. I love the grills. They modernise the car and it’s so in your face. The way an m3 should be. I have a 6.2 litre c63 and I’m really considering getting this car next. It’s a beast
The grill looks dope on the m3. The m4 on the other hand not so much. Honestly the whole design of the m4 is trash.

yeah they do look bulky and bland from the back. i decided not to order the bucket seats b/c i ordered fiona red and the creases really show on the outside seat cushion and i dont plan on tracking it.

I hate the curved display. It kills the "fighter jet" cockpit ambience. The long tablet glued on dash and removal of buttons should not happen in a sports car.

@@xFlared Exactly 😭 takes away the sporty feel of the car. I look at computer screens all day for week and I don’t wanna come in my car and look at another one. Hopefully BMW will listen to its customers and remove it. It’s a stretch but it’s possible

This dash and speedometer cluster looks wayyy much better than the curved display panel on the LCI
I'll never buy one with the curved video screen dash. I've owned BMW cars for awhile (I currently have two) and i intend to keep driving BMW's but not with the so-called display panel.
@@rollydoucet8909 Funny, I'm the opposite. Had many BMWs, including modern and classic Ms... now waiting for an LCI M3Cx to arrive because I wanted the curved display. The old dash/shroud/etc. just seems old fashioned now.
@@noncontradiction3 I must admit, the 'old' dash, with the speedo and the tach might have worn its welcome, especially with new buyers, who are attracted to the high tech gizmos, but I drive a lot, and I'm used to just glancing at the dash for a split second, and the simplicity of it is what I like. If I want to see anything else, I can scroll the screen.
@@rollydoucet8909 im excited about the curve screen coming from an m550i. only thing is the graphics suck, but all that screen with little bezels is quite modern looking.
@@minigiant8998 I've owned BMW cars for some time now, and I prefer an automotive dash panel to a curved video screen. My next BMW will also have the traditional style dash, and not the curved, flat screen TV version.

The grill is awesome. My favourite part actually. I loved it from day 1. BMWs have always had aggressive looks that are sporty and cute. To me this is one of the very best looking from the front. I dislike the 7 series grille. The X7 is also not great looking although it’s growing on me a little especially the one with split head lamps. I wouldn’t mention the m3 alongside the X7 and 7 series. The m3 and X5 have lovely grilles

People here keep defending the grill, whatever makes you people sleep at night. When you buy a car especially an expensive one, you don't make compromises. I like the previous generation m3, because the ENTIRE car looks good. There's no denying it. that the front is ugly as shit. The front of the car is butt ugly. Once the honey moon phase wears out, you'll be left with regret, wishing your car looked better from the front.
At this price point. The Lexus LC500 makes the BMW interior look like a Dollar Store purchase! Also, the BMWs all seem to have the Cookie Cutter interiors.

As a former E36 and E92 owner, both the M3 and M4 are brutal on the eyes. These cars are hideous looking. So disappointed in the exterior BMW styling lately.

The extra weight of the new M3 and it’s torque-converter automatic transmission rather than the DCT means it’s not actually that much quicker than the F80
