Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. Back at Carlisle Station on the West Coast Mainline during a very sunny Saturday afternoon, this was also the first of six weeks where LNER services were being diverted to reach Edinburgh while the East Coast Mainline section around Berwick was having engineering works. Furthermore, the station was going to be greeted by the Northern Belle hauled by a steamer. Therefore, I thought of taking the chance of travelling up there and capture all the action that is going on. Not as busy as I hoped it was going to be and not many freight was around; but still an enjoyable trip it was at least. I hope you all enjoy this!

Excellent video, Carlisle has always been one of my favourite stations. Interesting that 390154 was running in reverse formation with 1st class at the Glasgow end, not something you see very often.

By the looks of it they are. I had no issues at all from: Newcastle, York & Middlesbrough.

Carlisle has been a hub for spotters for at least a few decades. Don't get in the way and they usually leave you to it. They get a lot of steam tours through so they're more accustomed to spotters than say, Blackpool North.
I told someone to delete their commment because it was Spanish language on this VIDEO maybe because of class 397.

You had A very long time 12:05 PM you started then you slept on the train at 10:03 PM You've woke up at 7:30 AM , And last train at 3:33 PM.

Its very rare for photographers and videographers to get kicked out of Carlisle. Sometimes they might ask them to move or set-up elsewhere but so long as they're not in the way or being a nuisance staff there leave 'em to it.
