  • What would Latin America look like if colonization hadn't interrupted its ancient civilizations? Imagining a future where ancestral knowledge intertwines with modern aesthetics, designer Catalina Lotero shows how "pre-Columbian futurism" draws inspiration from Indigenous symbolism and technology - empowering Latin America to reclaim lost cultural narratives.

    Be the person who breaks the cycle. If you were judged, choose understanding. If you were rejected, choose acceptance. If you were shamed, choose compassion. Be the person you needed when you were hurting, not the person who hurt you. Vow to be better than what broke you-to heal instead of becoming bitter so you can act from your heart, not your pain.

    This video give me the moral how to prevent our cultural effectively. The answer is that we need to find certain characteristic of our own. In South Korea they have traditional architect is called Hanok. They still exist in the city of the Seoul and Jeonju. According to this place people can remind the lesson of the ancestor. As a result, It is necessary to find the tacit to remain this culture for a long time.

    Bravo! It is brave to present your originality in today's world of global colonisation. Health is biodiversity. God loves diversity. He wants everyone to evolve spiritually and find Him in his or her own way. And we as evolved human beings must provide this freedom to everyone. Go ahead bravely dear with all my blessings. May your likes grow and inspire your neighbours to grow and evolve on their own. Remove all leftists first from all govts.

    Latin America needs to be more progressive in terms of technology. Their counterpart seems to have taken on the reigns of becoming the pioneers of advanced technology.

    Let's see examples of what North Africa would look like without Islamic colonization. And South Africa without Zulu colonization. And Russia without Mongol and the Middle East before the Persians and Korea before Japan and.....

    Where did you obtain your information? Did you go to rural areas in Latin America? Have you heard of temazcal, molcajete, adobe, etc…

      That's not the point of what she's talking about. She's saying the broader aesthetics that permeate every latin culture from North to South America is a by-product of colonization. Modern indiginous culture is not emphasize and allowed to grow because of systems put in place centuries ago to be seen as inferior to eurocentric easthetics.

    There is no such thing as Latin America…the term was made up by white americans that never left the USA. Latin people are from EUROPE…the ones that have latin as their root…however the countries in south America are hispanoamerican.
    As if I with a very limited amount of info named all North Americans Cowboys, or Apachees or Yankees. 🤦🏻‍♂️
    Americans are in desperate need of an education system that includes comprehensive GEOGRAPHY.

      All "terms" are made up. And random Daniels on RUclips aren't the arbiters of what made up terms are legitimate. Your position on this is so foolish that I'm embarrassed on your behalf.

    • @chocomalk

      Hispano and Latino are synonymous lol

    • @reiddickson
      @reiddickson 24 дня назад +5

      You are partially correct that "Latin America", as a term, wasn't created by people living in what people call Latin America today.
      You are incorrect to suggest this was "made up by white americans that never left the USA". The term "Latin America" was coined by the French in the mid-1800s.
      I agree that the US education system does desperately need to improve, including on the topic of geography, but evidently so does whatever education system you were raised in.

    God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.
