I think that whining sound is the hydro transmission since it’s throttled down and you were making a wide turn, my s170 John Deere steering wheel mower makes the same sound when I make sharp turns throttled down

When did you get your Z545R mower? Is it a new one? I have 2 model Z530R JD mowers (2021 and 2022 years) and they are a great machine.
