The shunt comes with the voltmeter. Its very big and heavy with metal at each end, a bolt that allows you to bolt it to something and then a much smaller screw for fixing the leads from the voltmeter to the shunt.
The digital multimeter works very well. It's connected from a solar mppt to a battery and shows exactly the same data as the Victron 150/35 MPPT app shows. So now I don't have to look at the victron connect application.

Let's say battery is connected to UPS/Inverter where there is both DC in to the battery while charging and DC out while discharging. On such situation what is the setup of this multimeter? Setup on this video is only during discharging. What about recording/monitoring charging amperage, wattage and energy usage too?

Did you ever get an answer? I just purchased one from Amazon and found the same issued. I had to swap the shunt wires into the meter in order to read the opposite direction. I am going to put a DPDT switch to fix. My shunt and gauge from Victron worked both directions. Maybe that is why this unit is so cheap.
Hi, I put in an on/off switch inline wire from screw 1 (the wire that does not connect to the shunt). Then I can turn it on and off whenever I want so it does not draw power when not needed.
